Your story about the key being broken off, reminded me of a story. We used to get calls to help someone who had locked themselves out of their house. Sometimes we were able to help...sometimes we needed to call them a locksmith. My first tool was always to try all my keys that might fit their door lock. Most times it wouldn't work, but every once in awhile my key would work. This time one of my keys did happen to work in her door. Her response was "how did you get a key to my house?" I asked in return, "how did you get a key to the police department?" HAHAHA The two locks just happened to be close enough and the DPD key worked to open her door. We both had a good laugh after that. DPD119 retired
