Nice catch! Mouth-watering result! I like fish cooked any number of ways...! Grew up on fried panfish, learned how to avoid the bones... Fried catfish, filets from the biguns and fried the fiddlers whole! Fried buffalo ribs were my Grandpa's favorite! God bless ALL of us! WWG1WGA

You had enough flour left over to make a loaf of bread. I'm thinking I'm going to try using a flour sifter. Seems you could aim the sifter right over the fish and get as much on there as you want, pattting it on with your other hand...without wasting so much flour. 🤔 Just a thought...

Honestly my favorite way to cook reds and trout is to season the filets with blackened redfish magic then broil it with a bit of butter and Parmesan cheese on top. It’s been lights out every time.

Panfish get fried whole, my mom loves the tails and fins. Larger fish get fileted or on the halfshell.

Gutted with head on or off doesn't matter to me. Seasoned with half flour half corn meal. Fried in cast iron with corn or peanut oil preferably

Tell me something, are jacks all in the same family? Because most people say Jack Crevalle doesn't taste good. Just trying to figure out why they are labeled like that so much? Appreciate you brother! God bless! TGBTG!

I believe they are in the same family. Jack Crevalle is just very bloody and doesn’t taste very good
