1:52.. The combustion chamber (or "burn room") is MUCH smaller in the P3 engine head button. That's where the compression increase for the 0% nitro came from.

@@thebug4046 I've always had good luck with the higher end SH engines. They're usually pretty strong too. The stock SH B-01 in my ages old G.S. Storm buggy was a RIPPER once I ported and polished the block, crank, and rod. It kept right up with some VERY expensive engines, and embarrassed a few guys who had those big buck motors. 😁 It lasted a HELL of a long time too.

@@thebug4046 yes it is if there was a spec chart or master book I could imagine some of the engine that could be made from parts if a two stroke engine builder was able to pick and choose there parts for a build similar to how full size engine are made. It will run the same as a big red haha it's already been done before as a rebuild upgrade for the SH P3. Just no video about it that i can find. You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference on video. But I will see what I can do

@@revtech2917 I will do it at some point or another. but you gonna keep in mind the parts cost here is really expensive this big red is completely worn out and doesn't run anymore otherwise I'd be using it. and the piston and sleeve replacement cost $200 here so I really don't feel like spending that just to make a video unless I can find one cheap enough. KZbin doesn't pay me a dime but I will see if I can put something together.

Unfortunately not. I tried it not long ago since I have a blown up 427 myself. The big red sleeve is physically to big to fit the block.

A Main has the SH .28 8 port piston and sleeve on back order but they are selling these for under 30.00 American dollars! that is a steal if you want to hop up a Dynamite Big Red or a SH 3 port .28. they all have the same bore and stroke. I Think a Dynamite 053 pipe would be a great match for these .28-8 port combos.

And yes they DO fit, and yes they DO increase power and RPMs in a Big Red.... I run an 086 pipe on my 1/8 scale buggy with the Big Red and 8-port piston and sleeve. The thing screams

The big block tmaxx kits are no longer available. It's also a big pain in the ass to do it and you have to completely change and upgrade everything witch gets really expensive and annoying.

@@thebug4046 hey if you really want to blow people's mind.The .28 and .32 ofna force engines are the SH based engine.i took a .32 O.F. engine crankshaft and put it in A dynamite.28 and that changed the timing for it to be like a factory modified crankshaft!!

@@ofnaguycarlwatts8602 I'm very surprised that the windows in the cranks were even any different between the 2 engines to begin with. The Force engines are a lower line of SH engines, and they usually use as many of the same parts as possible between the various different engine models.

@@davelowets I guess a better way to say it the Ofna Force.32 has a bigger gas window in crank than .28 Ofna engine So therefore if you put a .32 crankshaft in a .28 it's a lighter crankshaft and changes the timing so you could also put it a .28 dynamite engine as well .hope that helps someone. So I’m interested in maybe dropping one of these into either my LST or LST 2. The original engines in both are running great so maybe it will be a temporary upgrade deal. Can either of these work with a spin start? I hate pull starts so I’d only upgrade if either one of these could have a spin start mounted to it. Please let me know at your earliest convenience. I'm sure there is some kind of electric starter for it. But whatever you do do not try to start it with a drill on the starter shaft without the pull starter body because the shaft will pop out and it will smash the crank shaft and destroy the engine

Curious is it Chrome or is it nikasil. I only ask because I run a dynamite 0.28 Big Red in my vintage losi LST 2 and it's pretty fast but I'd like to know a little more about it as I know a lot about two strokes and a lot about two stroke performance I know it's a different but there's a lot of similarities so if you could let me know I'd appreciate it and if you know of any pop-up parts for the dynamite 28 or parts from more performance-oriented engines it would fit and get a little more power out of it I would be much appreciated if you could let me know thank you or anybody in the comment for that matter. Hey man so ABC is aluminum brass chrome 98% of these engines are chrome plating a lot of older stuff is nickel plated witch required extra castor oil for its film strength and piston sealing abilitys as for performance parts? The SH 28P8 piston and sleeve is and 8 port witch will replace your 6 port sleeve and aside from pipes and fuel that's about it for that engine performance wise. 🤘🏻💯🍻

Hey thanks for watchin! And someone told me the 18 was upgraded to the ABC set but I'm not sure. As for the 21? Try find a dynamite 21 piston and sleeve might just get lucky

@@thebug4046 Yep the SH18does come with an ABC sleeve now (at least the black head Slide carb version) but, I assume both black and blue versions are the same. I wish someone made an aftermarket head for for them.

No worries buds and Nikasill is a brand name it's a little different than the old nickel plating in the rc cars witch is really soft and you can scratch it pretty easily compared to Nikasil witch is really hard and you can't scratch it unless something really bad happens hahaha

It's cheaper and faster It's to produce and depending on where you live and your environmental standards a lot less toxic than chromium plating which is often quite nasty but it also makes for an engine that doesn't last as long but for the most part and today's dayne age cheap cheap cheap cheap

Garbage crap... Many O.S. engines used to use the A.B.N. sleeves also. Cheaper to make is what it's all about. There are no advantages to an A.B.N. liner.
