That is the reason that Sheikh Deedat insisted on paying a special visit to the members of this organization. Deedat is a laughing stock just like his student Zakir Naik is today. LOL Deedat is lucky he came around when there was no internet and all he did were recorded timed debates where he was allowed to preach and say all types of misinformation and lies without being refuted, until he debated Dr Anis Shorrosh, and actual Arab Christian who destroyed him and pretty much ended his career. If I recall correctly he also had a debate at old Maple Leafs Gardens on the same day as the World Cup Soccer Finals. I remember going in my cousins 2-door Prelude with my brother to Toronto to see this event and listening to the game on the radio. Going through downtown was insane - especially when Roberto Baggio missed his PK! I think the following year Sh.Deedat came closer to my hometown, in Kitchener, ON. at the Center in the Square, for a debate with another preacher who had subsequently pulled out at the last minute. I remember the crowd in that arena was very, very loud mashaallah. In my early teens is when I experienced these and feel it had a profound impact on my very challenging upbringing in Western society. Seeing dawa'h work nowadays I feel his influence in it every time alhamdulillah. For all muslims with some understanding of English I strongly encourage to first watch Deedat vs. Swaggert debate. It was groundbreaking! Enjoy! Peace!

The first time I ever knew about debates with other religion, it was from listening to an audio cassette of Sheikh Ahmad Deedat. I was totally impressed with his confidence, his stature & more so with the knowledge he imparted. I bought his books & i was never the same person again. Since then i hv watched many other Islamic lectures & debates (audio & video cassette days). How we value those cassettes! We'd get together & watch as a family. Those were special times. Now everything is available free on the internet. MashaAllah. And I just found brother Sadat's channel yesterday... and this video showed up on my youtube feed today! Subhanallah. Alhamdulillah. May Allah preserve all our brothers & sisters who continue to put sincere effort in Islamic dawah. Aamiin. @@SmubilZhunt I love Muslims but they have been deceived by lies and deception. There's no salvation without knowing who the LORD Jesus Christ really and truly is. The Isa of the Qur'an is a lie. Jesus Christ the divine Son of God died for the sins of ALL HUMANITY, he died and rose from the dead to prove that there's eternal life after death if we put our trust in him. Islam is not true my friend, how can you believe this man who came 700 years after Jesus Christ came. If you read the scriptures that came before Islam you will understand the truth.

@@SmubilZhunt I love all people that don't know the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ, we're living in a sinful world and only the atonement that Jesus Christ provides for us by shedding his precious blood can save from hell. People die and go to hell because they die in their sins. People have to be born again before they can enter heaven my friend. There's no salvation in Islam, I'm imploring all Muslims to seek the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ and he'll appear to them in dreams and visions.

May Allah azzawajjal elevate Sheikh Deedat in the highest rank of Jannah ul Firdaus al ala’a. He has influenced so many Da’ees up this day and may he reaps sadaqua e jariya. He is a self-taught daee and mastering the art of debate in comparative religion is Allah favour definitely but is also a man’s devotion, resilience and perseverance to learn Islam and other religions. Not long than yesterday I was going through my islamic textbooks and I came across the booklets and pamphlets which I ordered in 1994 from the Islamic Propagation Center International i.e, Sheikh Deedat’s org in SA. I was still a secondary school student and came across Sheikh Deedat materials in my local mosque and was so impressed that I asked my mum to fax a letter to IPCI to ask them to mail me all of his books. With the advent of KZbin, Very often I would watch his debates and every time I get goosebumps and feel spiritually lifted.

Aslm to all my brothers and sisters wherever you may preside I love you all for the sake of Allah I must have been 15 my first encounter with this mountain I could relate immediately this uncles logic in comparative religion as a Muslim I sat glued to the screen almost hypnotic juggling through the Bible verse after verse with reference from memory I can say with clarity my faith strengthen everytime I listened to my uncle deedat I'm 53 now and Im listening to his lectures Alghamdulilla may Allah grant him jannat Ameen.

VERY IMPORTANT Narrated 'Aisha: When the Prophet became ill, some of his wives talked about a church which they had seen in Ethiopia and it was called Mariya. Um Salma and Um Habiba had been to Ethiopia, and both of them narrated its (the Church's) beauty and the pictures it contained. The Prophet raised his head and said, "Those are the people who, whenever a pious man dies amongst them, make a place of worship at his grave and then they make those pictures in it. Those are the worst creatures in the Sight of Allah" sahih bukhari book 23 volume 2 number 425
