I didn’t actually grow up watching Inuyasha but instead discovered the manga of it at my friend’s house. After reading the first volume in a day, I went home and binged the entire show back in freshman year. Somehow, even though that was only a few years ago, it feels like I’ve known Inuyasha for a long time and it has a special place in my heart.

演奏は良いと思いますが、録音のマイクが欠点を抱えた市販のモノで、録音方式にも致命的な問題があるうえに、さらに様々な信号処理が加わって、生音感が失われてしまっているのが残念です。 料理で言えば、グルタミン酸を入れすぎて、素材が持つ風味が潰れてしまったような、映像で言えば、髪の毛1本1本が再現できておらず、潰れてまるで水彩画のように流れてしまっているような、そんな印象を受けます。 生の演奏が聴きたくなりました。

Man why y’all talking about Kikyo while this is literally the theme of Inuyasha and Kagome? Have y’all not watched the movie Affections Touching Across Time? That’s when the song first came out and is literally the name of the song. And the composer also mentioned in the original booklet of the CD that this was a theme about how they miss each other in difference times and spaces. I genuinely can’t understand why ppl talk about Kikyo here

LITERAL FACTS every time I read one of those comments I feel like asking “did y’all not watch the show?! 🤨” this theme has nothing to do with Kikyo whatsoever. Like if people want to internally associate it with her and completely miss the point of this song, ok?? But don’t be posting comments claiming it to be hers because it gives new watchers the wrong impression 😑 I’m starting to think that that’s their intention. Watch them start trying to associate Sango’s theme with Kikyo next 🙄

I hope you’re not counting the ones who post the theme with kikyou’s photo in the background, this happens all the time to all characters in all anime shows. No one is stealing the theme. It’s on the internet for everyone to enjoy. I really don’t want to offense anyone but you sound a bit dramatic.

@@halik919 first of all, I don’t get why you’re bothering to say “I don’t want to offense anyone” right before you offend me anyway. Second of all, it’s pretty silly of you to ask me to “show you” when we’re on KZbin, a platform that doesn’t allow screenshots. If you said that on Facebook or something that would make more sense. But anyway there are comments all over the section acting like this is a theme for her and Inuyasha. One of the most popular one is “this song plays every time Inuyasha chooses Kikyo over Kagome” which is a BS LIE. This song only plays either during movie one where Inuyasha hugs Kagome or during any InuKag scene (episode 167 when Kagome hugs Inuyasha, episode 26 of the final act when Inuyasha states that the only reason he was born was for Kagome, their kiss, etc.) or during a scene where Kagome does something amazing (Kagome saying that she loves Inuyasha in episode 125 or Kagome saving Kikyo’s life in 151). This song is only hers and Inuyasha’s so it’s not fair to spread lies that it’s Kikyo’s song when it totally isn’t. And if this was another anime where the theme doesn’t matter I wouldn’t care. But this is Inuyasha where every major character and couple in Inuyasha is known to have a distinct theme. If it’s on the internet and people can wrongly blab about Kikyo on a vid that has nothing to do with her then everyone else is allowed to correct them

Actually it doesn't just play when Inuyasha choose Kikyo over Kagome. It actually plays more when Inuyasha choose Kagome over Kikyo. Like the time Kikyo forced Kagome to go home but Inuyasha asked her to come back from the first movie.
