The cloak is definitely flawed but I still think its better than all the previous cloaks, I was able to get mine to look decent by bending the wire lower on the shoulders and the back of the collar

The amount of hand options will be appreciated by stop motion animators. 🤔 The sling ring (brass knuckles) are used to open up portals, that's how Ned opened up portals to different Peters, he had Strange's sling ring at that time.

The cape is great for being a separate entity--but they definitely needed to wire it better to hang off Strange better. In dynamic poses, though, it's less noticeable.

The ornament thing on that one hand is the sling ring. It creates portals which I honestly forget isn’t something he can just do.

I do not personally own the SHF Battle on Titan Edition Dr Strange but from what I've seen, I feel like that version of his cape is far better than what people say. I know this one is removable and that that's supposed to be a great perk but like putting it back on him, it just don't look right. Meanwhile with the BOT version, I feel like the molded part of the cape on his shoulders and collar is necessary because it gives him the look of how sharp and upright the collar should be looking rather than very floppy or just barely there like on this new one. Yeah with the BOT version you have to put a little work into actually making the cape look like its one with the molded part of the cape but I think it's far worth it over how this one is. The Mafex Infinity War Strange's cape is honestly looking great rn in the promo pics but can't wait to see what the end result actually is and if the all fabric cape will give the right look on Strange.

Dude I really hope the cape on the mafex looks really good. I'm a little nervous but their prototype to final product track record has been pretty decent. I guess we will see by June 30th!

@@grayman1 Preach brother. I've been nervous as hell as you on the Mafex's version of the cape but like I said, promo pics looks really good, only hope it lives up to it. I'm not trying to buy 3 Dr Strange's. 😂

@@Soldier-wi8ps yeah man I really wanted this shf figure and I've seen pics of people making his cape look good and fixed to be on his shoulders. If I found out more tutorials on this then I would def consider getting this figure on sale at some point but I'm not rushing to get it. I will say I like the magic shields on this one a little better than the battle on titan version.

@@grayman1 Honestly, loving the new torso design in that he's closer than ever to looking like his comic book counterpart but it's the cape that's killing me. (That and little bit of the headsculpt. Not sure why but not a big fan of it. The BOT version was definitely better. Headsculpt wise)

@@Soldier-wi8ps I'm with you 100%. It's the cape and head sculpt for me too but it's more so the cape. Only thing I can think of is if you drill little holes in his shoulders and pin down his cape but you shouldn't have to do that and you it'll look bad without the cape then. But at that point I wouldn't bother taking off the cape. Again this is why I'm hoping mafex will kill it and make it look EXACTLY like the prototype. I think I stated mafex's track record from prototype to final product is basically 100%. So here's hoping the cape looks just like the prototype the way it should sit on his shoulders.

Great review bro! I’m getting this figure it’s on the way, but I do agree with you on the cape. I think maybe around the shoulders it gives the illusion that’s it’s kinda floating around the neck…maybe? Lol..but it def looks too heavy to do any real flowing or wind blown poses…but like I said dope review keep it coming!

the shf height is actually correct, plus the body proportion is better than the ML version, but that headsculpt could be better, it doesnt look good
