Please be clear about the fact that US retirement age (at which one can withdraw SSI) is 62, instead of 65 that's called full retirement age. Remember, so called full retirement age is somewhat arbitrary since one can delay retirement even further if willing to gain more monthly SS income, but at the price of losing more years of income.
@@BestYears2BestPlacesHave you heard of modern slavery? I know few people worked past their 70s here in the states. Not because they like it, it was because they have to. No one in their deathbed will regret not spending more days at work. I feel sorry to hear those over 70 who are working UNDER you. Those are either financially insecure or they can’t let go of the money they are making (money hungry). Another reason for people who can’t retire early here in the US is medical insurance. Medicare won’t kick in until 65 years old.
What a waste of human resources? Many people in tbe 50s, 60s, or olders have aot of valuable expertiseyand experience. Live an engaged life should be the goal. Charlie Munger worked until he passed away at age 99. He was peaking right before he passed. That is a life well lived.
