Don’t forget that after Rod Evans - Original singer of the Band and Nick Simper - Original bassist left the band in 1969, and Gillan and Glover joined, then Coverdale and Hughes joined, when the other two left, Blackmore left in 75 and… What I mean is, the bands rollercoasting history is spinning since their formative years…

Absolutely killed it. Professional outfit all round. Still world class and are one of the VERY few artists around the world that are considered universal or global. I would highly assume that they could literally play to just about any country in the world and be adored for their musicianship and non political stance. Despues de Blackmore (el único y fantasttico) el mejor guitarrista de Purple con diferencia el actual Mr Simon McBride , les da mucha fuerza en los directos. Buena noticia y mala por el motivo por le abandono de Morse, que esperemos tenga final feliz. Long Live ROCK.

Somebody here said that Simon doesn’t sound like Blackmore because Blackmore never played a Les Paul. But this seems to be a PRS, not a Gibson. And, by the way, if you look at old DP vídeos you’ll see Blackmore playing a Gibson, not a fender if I’m not mistaken, but not a Les Paul. Anyway, I like the new guitar man. I think he has more soul than Morse, though Morse is a superb guitar player.

I still prefer Steve Morse's formation as a guitarist, his choice of tones, the way he plays the wave of tones is very soulful, even Ritchie Blackmore admits Morse's greatness, he creates another color without leaving Blackmore's legendary mainstay riff, if Simon Bride is indeed a good guitarist but like he is very much at the moment, not visible in the crowd, and there is one more that needs to be replaced, namely Roger Glover, he is too monotonous, maybe Dave La rue, Stu Hamm is very suitable to replace him. Glover is more suitable as Deep Purple's manager, hehehe, this is just an idea, don't let anyone get hurt if I comment on their idol,👍👍👍
