Before the idol era of the 1980s I thinks she is the first idol but on the 1970s, also the instruments or the background excellent. One time when I played one of her songs, my father becomes teary eyed because of the instrumentation and her voice.

Momoe, Junko and Mori Masako were once a trio singing together. They were pop idols. They each went their own separate ways in their singing careers. Momoe was voted mother of the year in one of the Japanese Tabloids many years ago. KZbin takes us back in time to see these girls and many others growing up in their singing careers.

@@EverydaywithKris Momoe and Mori also stared in some Japanese movies. I don’t know about Junko in any movies. Mori also had her own comedy Japanese TV show.
