I had the pork stuffed intestine at my grandparents home when I was, maybe, 7 years old. I am now 62. That was the only time I had this dish. The flavor and taste was overwhelming, till today I still search for that taste. According to my mom, fresh pork blood was used to make the sausage. No wonder I never see it anywhere else, not even in my home. By the way I am not Teochew, but I understand basics Teochew. Haven’t spoken since I was nine.

Love your program especially when you speak teochew. It makes me feel like we are in the same family. Teochew dishes are very well known worldwide but it lacks exposure. Same here.. Im an overseas teochew, and its really different when a teochew doing the video interviewing people also in teochew... Really nice
