Cuando nissan tenía huevos. Ese año se debió ganar, le faltó más estrategia a twr, en aconsejar al equipo. Pienso que ahí hubo dinero de por medio para hacer perder a nissan, excusa la del maletero, sin eso no había problemas, los dos porsche estaban fuera solo quedaba el prototipo creo que se pudo llegar al podio, para 1998,el nissan no estaba en condiciones de combatir al nuevo Mercedes, Toyota, BMW, porsche, solo se codeaban con el panoz y el joest, algo le faltó, maldición era la última carrera de hoshino debió ganarla, pero un tercer puesto es especial también

@ur1off That's an easy question to answer. Japan has serious horsepower limits for their road cars. I don't know if it still is, but the limit had been 300 horsepower. That does a lot to put Japanese manufacturers' nuts in a vice grip when it comes to high level engineering.

@bullmilk not sure how thats an easy question to answer. what u are talking about is the 206kw "gentlemans agreement" that used to go on about a decade ago between JDM manufacturers. That agreement has long ceased with the new GTR putting out ~ 360kw and many more JDM cars putting out decent power. The high level engineering is in the cars potential. Eg the 2.6L rb26 putting out mamouth power with correct tuning- however JDM is NOT about straight line speed.its about the whole package

ドライバーの方々は当時バリバリの現役、そうそうたるメンバー。今、想えば総合優勝は叶わなかったがマシンの戦闘力は有ったと思う。NISSANは日本のマシンでル・マン初優勝するものと期待していたのですが。マツダ、トヨタは優勝している、NISSANは永遠に優勝は無理か？
