That 500i works great! Excellent logs. Growth rings looked pretty tight. What do you do with the cedar over there?

@@shieldwolffalcontrainer9040I forgot to mention that you can tell this one is cedar rightaway that also suprised me. Thanks a lot I am happy with your comment, growth rings are tight 100-120 all around here. Cedar is sold by 7ft or bit less than 14ft mainly used for roof eaves mainly. Because light when it's dry. But big one is used for anything and sold higher price although the color is so important blackened or not straight one goes to biomass, chips.

Thats interesting. We dont cut much cedar in the heart of the USA. We have alot of hardwoods. And eastern red cedar. I mainly fell black walnut, cherry and oaks. More for the veneer markets. I do keep some of the stressed logs(grown under heavier pressure) for live edge slabbing. Tends to give me more figured slabs that way. I think you do a excellent job felling.
