SH2001 Marshall Damascus Sword from Medieval Collectibles

Our single-hand Marshall Damascus Sword sets new standards of quality and authenticity in broadsword construction. The sword is based on an original, now in a British museum, used by Sir William Marshall. He served the crown faithfully under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart, and Jack Lackland. The Marshall Damascus Sword features a forged and folded Swedish powder steel blade with excellent handling characteristics. Tempered to a tough HRC 54, the blade section features a central ridged fuller and full-length distal taper. This is a tough test for the bladesmith but results in a superb combination of speed and strength. The grip is leather wrapped and laced and the guard and pommel are elegant in their functional simplicity. The scabbard is leather-covered with steel mounts. Truly a sword for the connoisseur. @@sb1424 Yes most likely I've done a lot of research on my family tree it's very interesting and im related to a lot of royal family and somewhere along the line the Marshall family must have split creating your line and my line and many other lines of families so your probably a long lost cousin of mine.

Not hollow ground, has a radius up to the edge of raised Fuller. From this radius,it is flat to the edge.

As a direct descendent of Sir William Marshal I can tell you that you can find your connection to him on Ancestry or if you are LDS Family Search.

@@robert1marshall I am NOT talking about DNA. DNA only works for three generations. I am talking about a paper trail. In other words you will have to do your genealogy to see if you are related to William like I am.
