The SH71 is about a 100 km long stretch of road which is mostly paved and in good condition. The first 25km or so (south to north) are unpaved and in bad condition. This video shows a short stretch along a canyon river.

I just rode this yesterday! the first part was all ripped up and dirt roads for a few miles, looks like they are redoing the pavement, but it was an incredible ride!! Curious where your GoPro is mounted in this video? Great footage! thanks for sharing!

How very cool - not a road many riders get to experience! 😎This video was filmed 2 years ago towards the end of October - so pretty much the same time of year. Unlike pretty much everyone else I do not use a GoPro for my helmet camera but a Sony - one reason is the placement on the helmet which I prefer to be on eye level. Most videos these days are filmed with GoPro at chin level - depending on the motorcycle that can be a good angle especially for motorcycle with a small or no wind screen but on certain motorcycles like mine it would show too much of the cockpit and wind screen. The Sony camera has a "camcorder" style body and allows for a relatively slim fit when side mounted on a helmet. They do not make good action cameras like that anymore - the GoPro style camera body is now what every good action camera looks like. It’s been too long but the early section from Maliq was not great but the majority of the road was paved in good condition. Even the bad parts can be ridden on any motorcycle it’s just a lot slower of a ride

@@nikolaosvigkopoulos3280 with the S you will gain on onroad performance but sacrifice a bit on the off-road capabilities due to the road focused suspension as compared to the R. The R is MUCH better once you leave the pavement allowing you to go faster safer. The suspension is higher spec than the S with more travel. More suspension travel with larger thinner wheels means you hit the limit earlier when cornering hard on pavement or on the race track - I still ride the majority on pavement but still decided to go with the R kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnfCqZiMqa6beNk That’s it in a nut shell for the 1290 - if you get more serious with off-road riding and you have places close by to ride off-road a lighter 890 Adventure R May be better - the 1290 is very capable but still a heavy beast 😂 hope this helps for now - good luck with your choice

Very inspiring video. I think Albania will be part of my next trip to Europe if Putin has not created a new world war before the next summer. But I think your camera is pointing at bit too low and thus cheating us for the beautiful panoramas and mountains on the route. Some video bloggers show almost only the road and nothing else. Just a note for your nice video.
