SH72 SOLDERING IRON 12 TO 24V £10 😮WOW 65w Max, FIRST IMPRESSIONS 💪

Guys, I ordered this Iron over 2 months ago as an impulse buy while browsing AliExpress. It finally arrived and I just had a very first test. Now. I know only time will tell. But for a first impression I was well impressed. the Tips also seem pretty decent. I ordered the iron with the SH-BC2, and ordered the larger SH-C4 Tip separately (both from the same supplier) it seems excellent for all the use I will give it, though not sure how long it will last. For £10 though. As a back up or backpack iron. It will do the job. 👍

I got mine for £8 it was back when it was first sold on banggood, brought it as a backup in case my TS100 failed. These are not bad, I run them at 15V typically don't want run to run them above that.

Do the TS tips work in the SH72 and vice versa. I bough a Sequirius ea-101 which is supposed to takes ts100 tips, but SH72 tips are cheaper. I did not by the pinecil as they were selling it with a conical tip.

Wish i could find out what size the barrel connector is so i could make a cable to run off a 4s lipo in the field

I think is 5525 witch means 5.5mm x 2.5mm (the same as the ts100) just Google it and confirm it btw I recommend the silicone wires for tattoo machines some of them already have a 5525 dc barrel jack and you just have to change the other side but good silicon cables won't burn if they happen to touch the iron and they are pretty mmm soft¿? Sorry for my English.

How did you get SH72 tip for 2 pounds.. SH72 tips is all places almost the same price as the full iron with incl. tip. The cheapest i can find them is like a tad under 9 bucks, unless you can use T12 tips in SH72,, those you can get for like 2GBP delivered. anybody tested T12 tips in SH72,, all the pads and placing seems to match, though T12 are somewhat longer but fitwise they seem to match hence radius.. perhaps there is some int-resistance that will screw this idea, but anybody tried that?? I also got the SH72 with BC2 tip, and uses a power bank with a 20v PD protocol decoy-cable..imgur.com/a/niXtx8k

Wow man. Just checked. The seller must have made a mistake on his AliExpress shop. The tips have been removed from his page. It was just under £3 when I bought it. The cheapest I can find is around £4 now.
