Shan if you pop a lid on your saucepan when cooking the poached eggs they cook in a couple minutes! Also, i spray a little oil spray into the silicone cups before i pop the eggs in! They are so handy!

Shannon the tool used to cut the tomato. Is better used with onions (even eggs). It keeps your hands from smelling like an onion, & makes more semitricle slices. I also use mine for a quick tenderizing of steaks. The egg poachers even the egglettes. Require a nonstick spray first then add your egg. They'll slide out much easier. I prefer the egglette version.

For the egg poachers you need to add a tiny bit of spray oil (I use low calorie one) so eggs don't stick to them (which kind of defeats the purpose of poached eggs a little bit, IMHO) and cover the pot with a lid, that way they will cook much quicker. Loved the video and the way you got excited about shredded courgettes and carrots!

In Belgium we call a zuchinni a courgette, and we call grated courgette 'courgetti' 😆 Because its sliced like spaghetti noodles

a) bit of non-stick spray in the egg poachers and b) put a lid on the pot when they are cooking, they cook through heat from the water on the bottom and steam on the top :-) I use those every time I poach my eggs and it is SO much easier that way! I could never get the eggs to stay together even using the water swirling method

Put butter or a little bit of oil around the silicon egg poachers before putting the eggs in. And also put the lid on the pot the steam cooks the top. (my dad makes amazing poached egg, and now that I live in my own I've been trying to find the perfect way to cook them like him)

I enjoyed this!😊💞 Yes, vinegar is the trick to keeping poached eggs together and not separating👌🏻 at work in the kitchen, we use a dash of vinegar in the water and we crack the egg very close to the water also. I really want to get that smiley peeler 😍
