I came across your channel as I was scrolling. I'm having an issue with my feet so I need to stay off them. That being said I've been spending most of my time on you tube. I can't tell u how happy I was to watch your tutorial. I love all the DIY'S you did and you remind me of a few people I follow. Your style is more shabby chic which I love. The picture frame with the bird nest is beautiful. Those birds with the wax that you applied and who would ever believe they came from a $ store. They are gorgeous. I love these crafts. they look so professional . I am a crafty person, but have never done anything with rub on stencils, painting or refurbishing , so I'm a little intimidated. where would you suggest I could find some very simple projects to start with. I don't know anything about types of paint, including chalk paint. If you have some suggestions, that would be great!

Thank you Bonnie! Don’t be intimidated and learn as you go. Pinterest is a great resource. Start with something small like using a transfer on a flower pot. I love chalk paint because it’s matte and easy to distress and I use it under transfers because they adhere well to chalk paint. Happy Crafting!
