I just watched this again. That sled is so winter wonderland, dashing through the snow, white Christmas. Everything that the holiday should be. it’s magical. I have to plow through my stuff upstairs to find that sled. It won’t look like yours, because it’s mine, but I hope I can make it as wonderful as yours.

Love all your projects & appreciate demonstrations. You have great ideas at reasonable costs. Do you ever discuss how much the projects sell for?
@LindasDIYbyDesign7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Donna! I have mentioned what I sell projects for when I show the Christmas Craft Bazaar ideas. I put out a recent vid that discusses some most asked questions at the last portion of the video... It's title 2017 Christmas Craft Bazaar Q&A. U can find the video on my main channel page under "My Christmas Craft Bazaar Ideas". My main rule of thumb is to add up cost of supplies to make the project and then double it for selling price...although that gets adjusted depending on the project itself. TFW!

You said about having such a gorgeous piece at a Christmas Bazaar, how would you price the sled considering the multiple pieces and time and creativity and love you infused into it?
@LindasDIYbyDesign7 жыл бұрын
Hey Carol! You know, when crafting for a bazaar, it's too difficult to add in pricing for time spent making creations...you just have to not think about that part and just enjoy the time spent making it. Only because most people, just don't consider that aspect of it in the pricing. My rule of thumb is just to take the cost of supplies and double it for the final price tag. Sometimes you have to add or subtract a few dollars depending on how it "looks" to you. I try to think about how much I would seriously pay for something like this if I saw it for sale. This sled probably cost me about $15 to make and so I go from there. Hope this helps! Many blessings for the new year!

This is just stunning and I love the up cycling that you have done, so very festive!!! I think i must have watched all of your videos and thoroughly enjoyed each one and commented on several of them. I am always blown away by your creativity and especially enjoy your step by step tutorials. I have noticed that you often use what looks like a long grass and I was wondering what it is called, as I have tried to find it every where, I would really appreciate your help, thank you. Have a lovely day Jane x

Jane Casey Hey Jane!! I so appreciate your kindness with every comment. It means so much. Thanks for taking the time to spend watching my videos. I had to go back and watch my vid to see what looked like long grass...lol., I’m guessing it’s the one I use at the very beginning that I cut pieces off of? I get that at Hobby Lobby and it comes out with all their greenery when they put out the Christmas stuff. It’s found in the aisle with all the greenery/holiday piks. If this isn’t the one you are talking about...let me know. Hugs!

@@LindasDIYbyDesign Aw that is awfully good of you to go to so much trouble and thank you from the bottom of my heart for trying to help me find these lovely picks. Unfortunately... I live in the UK and we do not have all of these wonderful crafting shops here. Yes, that was the one, I think that I may need to place an order at hobby lobby and have it shipped over here. I really appreciate all of your help. Take care, Cuddles Jane x

Jane Casey I’m so sorry. I hate when that happens. I went and looked at HL online, I didn’t see the one I used....yet....I was in HL yesterday and the Christmas is already just starting to hit the shelves. Crazy! Anyhoo, the online site had one pik...a single called...iced pine. It is the one I’m using, but a little snowy and a single, vs a whole branch full. Hopefully more come into the online store. However, you can at least look at this one and know they are calling it a pine pik. Hugs! 💛

Linda that is absolutely gorgeous! Where do you purchase your supplies from? Can you list them?
@LindasDIYbyDesign7 жыл бұрын
rosie9057 you know...I use so many different supplies...I honestly get most from the main craft stores such as Hobby Lobby, Joanns, Micheals. Some from Walmart. My online shopping is mostly like Reneabouquets.com and a few various from Etsy shops. A friend will sometimes purchase for me cuz she has a craft business and can get things cheaper, but other than that...those are pretty much my sources. But if you ever have a specific supply you are after and need help, let me know. I will try and help. Hugs and Happy New Year!
