Linda you do amazing work! You and your cousin should open a Lil boutique and sell your crafts all year round. Y'all would have an amazing store. My entire home would be filled with your stuff. I have loved everything you've made. TFS. Have a fabulous weekend! Take care. God bless ♥️☃️🙏❄❤

This is great I had two of these frames laying on the floor in the garage and was going to donate them because I didn’t really know what to do with him and I made a wreath ride along with you while I watched your tutorial so thank you

I love these! The easiest way to get the frayed edge is to snip just past the selvage edge with scissors the width you want your strips to be. Then tear! The fabric will tear with the grain and automatically fray!

Thank you Vanessa! Sometimes I like to do things the hard way, I guess. 🤪 I’ve been using your technique on some things and it saves time and looks great! 😃

Instead of the rusty paper paint, I use brown acrylic craft paint and cinnamon mixed in for texture. I love making these! I even repurposed those plastic candy canes we all had in the 80's and 90's. I got a whole box for 2$. I covered with burlap.

I went to 5 Dollar Tree Stores and none of them had the Candy Cane wreath frame. I'll have to wait until next year and look for them as soon as the Christmas items come out. Thanks for this tutorial very helpful.

Linda Lincoln ohhhhh I HATE that! Mine ran out early too. You can order them online. For the candy canes, I noticed you don’t have to buy them by the case. You can buy them separately but they charge an additionally handling fee. Just a thought. TFW! Merry Christmas!

Bonnie J I sold mine at $17.50, but we are in a lower priced area. Another crafter sold hers at $25 very well. Merry Christmas!

Great idea using fabric! However, the stopping and gluing is too time consuming. I believe the continual wrapping of each strip then stopping to add and glue the second patterned strip would be much less time consuming. Aside from that I love your finished project.
