I so understand the PTSD issues. Abused by my mentally ill mother for 56 years, then nearly murdered by my ex, who stalked me for 10 years. Thus, I have lived in an isolated forest for 25 years. Then my dad, husband of 30 years, 9-year old grandson and brother died within a short period. While working through my life issues I became disabled and forced to quit working as a nurse. Ugh. Anyway, one thing I learned...a chaotic environment generates more chaos if you allow it. I suggest you consider adjusting your crafting environment. You love, and rely upon, crafting. Please consider keeping your safe/sacred space tidy, less chaotic. Love you so much. This year will be better.

My husband died with my kids at home and had to watch me preform cpr on him. That was years ago so hang in there it will get better. Remember hold to the things that are precious and do the things you love❤ Today is a gift. Your Great at crafting Tina!!!!!! You’ve got this!!!!!!!!!!

I suffer PTSD. For years, I thought the way I felt was normal until one day I talked to my Dr. about it, and he sent me to see a psychologist and after talking about what happened. He taught me coping skills, but I also needed medication, and today, I can say I don't have those feelings very often. Tina, there's no shame in talking to a professional, and they also have online support groups for people who suffer PTSD. You don't have to suffer alone. 🙂❤️

Hi sweetie 😘 So it was bugging me cuz both sounded right, so I checked with Google... the plural of series is series. Normally a word that ends in S gets an es added to it to indicate more than one, but "series" is a "zero plural" (🤔🤷), so the singular and the plural are the same word. Aren't you glad I checked? 🙄🤷🤭😉 I read a review for a book called "Your Brain On Art". It's about neuroaesthetics - how GOOD any sort of art is for us, like paper crafting or playing music or dancing or architecture - how healing it is for the mind AND the body AND the psyche - ALL our parts. The blurb I read about it said that while the book is informative it's rather dry reading, so at this point - cuz I've never been a big reader - I'm just learning what I can about the theory, but it sure explains why crafting makes me feel so much better! I'm excited about 2024! '23 wasn't awful for me at all, but it set me up for some pretty exciting things for this year - a whole new life! 🎉🎉 Big hugs, sweetie!! You're the best! Happy New Year everyone. I haven’t celebrated on New Years Eve for 35 years now. My father crossed to the other side that day and I just can’t make myself party that day. Besides that, I’m old and tired! lol I’m with you Tina on making 2024 a great year. For a lot of us just watching your videos helps us a lot. Happy New Year Tina! I just got back from a nice holiday up in the mountains. I have CPTSD extending into adulthood. I am a bit older than you and I battle it most days. It's a shame that bad things seem to happen to decent people. I do see a professional which is helpful but sometimes very hard to focus I just keep working on it in a healthful way. Mind, body and soul.

I totally get the PTSD. I have suffered every since my medical issues that happened on July 31, 2023. I am still trying to recover. I still can't use my hands very well, so i can't craft, and it has always been my stress release. Depression gets me almost every day. I'm still praying for you, sweet friend! BIG HUGS! XOXO

Hi Tina, what a gorgeous stash of ephemera you’ve made! I’m going to try and follow along with some of your makes this year as I too have been struggling with the viscous circle of motivation, anxiety and lack of confidence, it’s awful isn’t it? I have also found that the only way to conquer it is to keep occupied and work through it. Many years ago an army doctor in Germany told me to always remember that confidence makes confidence, you’ve got to work at it and through the self doubt and gradually the self doubt becomes self esteem. I ❤❤❤ love all you did in this 6 part series. If I may, I would like to suggest a channel called Treasure Books with the creator Natasha. If you've not gone to her channel before she has some wonderful quirky and intriguing ideas to put in junk journals. She may be someone that you will find Inspirations from as I know you said you were going to be looking for new places to find inspiration. This week as part of my New Year's resolution I have decided to spend at least 3 days a week working on bits and pieces for 8 journals I want to create as gifts for family members. I will definitely be using a few of her ideas for ephemera. I am also planning on using the ideas from your miniseries as well as several others that I have marked from your previous videos. I am so excited to get started. And as I work on each of these journals I will be organizing materials as I come to them. My table looks like your table and my shelves look like your table so I really need to organize as I use and clear. I'm crossing my fingers this is all going to work out in the next 6 months.
