This series was SOOO FUN! I love the way you had your specific chosen items to work with and used them all throughout. Seeing this organized really helped me because I tend to be all over the place 🤪🤪. And probably using an altered book would help me, at least, be a little more organized in making a cohesive journal. Painting all that was a little intimidating to me but of course you made it look easy peasy so that’s on my list of projects to dive into. Thanks for doing this!! 💕💕💕

Hi congratulations 30k is huge. Today is my birthday, I am 60 today, I’m actually glad I can’t have a big party, my anxiety would hate it, worse nightmare, but to watch you and other like minding artist, that’s what I get to do. I agree....altered books do seem to get fatter.... Great tip to jump around and then choose to leave empty pages to keep it "under control"!! I wish I had known that little tip for my altered book that I'm 2/3 through! She's a chubby girl but I'm determined to finish her anyway! I may just need to have a tie around her to keep her closed! Your altered journal is so sweet! I love the colours, the painted pages, the added florals and lace....so adorable! Great series!! I'm so looking forward to the next little project you have to share!

Awesome series, Tina! Love the way this journal turned out. I did begin my journal and taking your lead, using a children's book with little laces and dyed papers and small flowers and so far it is super cute. Will be a book for my sister-in-law who has 9 grandchildren. She has cancer and I thought it would be nice for her to write in while she is in treatment. I still have a lot to finish and sewing in the 3 signatures, but its taking shape. Thank you for the beginning to end instruction!

Wooohooo 30K!!! What a huge Blessing. Actually, I'm surprised that you don't have 100's of thousands of subs. I love watching your videos and get lost while watching the playlists, lol!! I've started another journal using this method of making the signatures and I gotta tell ya, I hate using my tacky glue to glue the pages, because of the puckering. Drives me nuts, lol. So I scrapped that one and started another, but I'm using my double sided tape this time. It takes a little bit of time, but I'm patient and I love the result! Not sure I would have thought of doing this, but again, I love it!! So thank you so much for this series Tina! Your so creative and talented ;-) Hope you and your family are doing well!

Tin Just 2 questions, I have put together 2 pages off the altered book but my pages are really bumpy due to the glue I think, tried to flatten them but not worked and how many pages in the book is it to make altered book please x

Hi Tracy, thank you for your questions. If the pages are a little on the bumpy side, you might be able to smooth them down by standing something heavy of the book to flatten it down and the pages out? It's definitely worth trying. I think my book started out around the 300 page mark x
