Firstly, who would have thought that toadstools go with a bunch of flowers and, secondly, to cut a slot to insert them into the bunch? Just adorable and so quirky! You’re able to see numerous possibilities and think beyond what’s in front of you. Love it. 🍄🌹🍄 🌹

Tucking in the mushroom stems is genius, the small butterfly on the first one also a grand idea. I made my MR look at the differences of the original passé papers to really useful papers. The tag tucked behind the toadstools truly cute. I am pleasantly surprised the direction these wound up.

Beautiful as always! Thanks again for another great video and great ideas! Just an idea for you: try wadding up plastic wrap wrap to smooth out napkins or other images. It works great for me. Use a gentle hand to lightly rub over it. Funny story for you: I am electronics stupid so I'm not great with my phone 🙄. I saw the notification that you had uploaded this video but I knew I had a lot to do this morning so I would watch later when I could craft along. I rounded up my things from the bedroom and was moving it to my living room. My hands were full and out of nowhere I heard "Hi, this is Tina from Shabby Danny too dah". I stopped in place and looked around. Somehow my the hand my phone was under had managed to click on your video. SO I just kept going to my craft room and rather than doing things I should be doing, Im listening and crafting along. I have decided that after my Bible reading, this is a great way to start my day. Makes me happy 😂

A great idea to use napkins. I have some that have pink roses around the edge but are plain white in the middle, to jazz them up I stamped randomly in the middle with a script stamp and gold pigment ink. I found when decoupaging napkins that Mod Podge gives a slightly shiny finish (even the Matte version) but ordinary PVA gave a completely matte finish, which I prefer.
@shabbydabbydoodah5 жыл бұрын
Great idea for the plain part of the napkin. I haven’t tried regular PVA, might have to try this, tfs x

love these ideas for the "not so loved papers" I really like the look of the blue flower folded and in the upper left corner.. not fond of the lace on that particular project... but to each her own.. I love butterflies, flowers and kitties and lace and all different styles.. I really like that your videos teach how to use what would usually get thrown away.. things cost so much these days I hate to throw away anything that can be salvaged in to rather nice things I think..

'Use your stash ' is a great series! Thank you. I use the acetate but make sure it is very clean...no wet or dry glue on it as it will 'catch' and lift your picture.
@Aegopodium5 жыл бұрын
Hiya! Instead of using the clear foil to rub the napkins down onto the paper, you can use a teflon sheet! It's available at poundland or wilko in the cooking section! It's not totally transparent but it's totally non stick, so you can leave it on the napkin until dry and then remove it! I use it all the time!!

Really enjoy the layering that happens when you start out with paper that you don't particularly care for. It creates much more interesting background. I also particularly like the mushroom tucking and don't think you needed the "lost" blue flower or the bright pink lace. It looks fully decorated without. May snip it in tag shape or just leave it.
