Tina, these are perfect to dress up a plain page! Just pop it in and there you go!!!!!! Great idea!!!! Love hearing you share your stories about you and your kids!!!!!!! I'm shocked, I thought you were going to pull off the dark bathroom. I would have though you would have painted maybe one or two of the walls a lighter color!!!!!! I know it will be beautiful when you get it finished!!!!!!

Hi Tina!! These pockets really turned out nicely & you certainly high-lighted all the pretty floral patterns from your various kits! I would love to get the decorated one for Mother’s Day (which is May 8th this year)! A practical card!! All those paper flowers & pearly baubles are GORGEOUS!! I’m glad your kiddos were so sweet & nice yesterday & that the weather cooperated for a walk & a coffee! I bet your daughter’s card was very pretty, because she loves to decorate almost as much as you! But you’ll never guess where your pocket idea took me?! My craft “room” is now scattered all over my house, because… well, because there’s so much stuff for junk journaling & now that I’ve decided that gel printing is something I’m going to do, it’s even worse! 🙄🙄🙄my 3 children have decided I’m insane, but I’m so happy when crafting, who really cares?! I have 1 son here, while he tries to get his life in order, but normally I’m here alone, so why bother with being a perfect housekeeper? Your bathroom story is sooo funny & probably a lot of us can relate! Hopefully now you’re on your way to fixing that room up & then on to the next!! I hope you’re able to enlarge your craft space, but I know how hard it is to sense the changing needs of your children. Anyway, that’s a huge digression! I grabbed an 11x81/2” piece of cardstock to make an example of your pocket & thought, wow! These are just perfect for ephemera holders!! I have a ton of heavier scrapbooking paper which I’m not using for journaling & these will be perfect used this way! So I’m busy making these now for myself, may even add little gussets like for accordion pockets for some of them! Then I can store ephemera in those cardboard boxes that I think are made for storing photographs!! So, with your help, I just solved a huge problem, without having to spend money on file folders, glassine bags or plastic envelopes!!!! Gotta go organize, now!! Thank you, Tina, so much, you just never know where craft-making will take you, do you?! See you tomorrow!

When we moved into our house, the previous person had made a right hash of the decorating in our bathroom, eventually hubby decided to just paint over the top, it looks amazing, so don’t despair you will get there, I look forward to the day you say it’s done and love it! My craft room, was a dining room but now it’s my room, it took a while I had to ditch the sofa, I knew I could use the table covered but I got there, my room is the hub of our house, our front room is now the grandbabies toy room lol, but it works. You will get there, you do you and what fits your family. I love to watch you craft and so thank you xx💜 You make such amazing *stuff* and I love to watch it.

I like that idea of having the fold for the pocket so you can get things in and out of the pocket easier. The one you decorated is beautiful.

Hello, Mothers Day in the United States is May 8th.. Our gas is at very high here in New Hampshire USA.. it’s disgusting.. we plan everything out so we don’t waste..On a happier note, love this project! I will be making a few of those for my Journal.. God Bless ..

These are great pockets! I have two daughters, grown now, but one was a slob and the other immaculate. During her high school years I gave up and just closed the door. Totally redid her room when she was off to college. I feel for you, also, with the painting situation.

Even those who do it for a living say that even they have difficulty with colors. You never know what it will look like until you have already finished, it seems. Happy Mother’s Day. These are just beautiful, I love anything with fairies! When doing renovations things first look messy but in the end they are beautiful but it is hard to keep that in mind. What a lovely idea! Immediately when I saw it I wanted to try it. The only thing I changed was that I made another gusset fold at the bottom. It makes the pocket even bigger. Nice to send some goodies to my pen pals. I hope that everything works out for you (even the bathroom 😂)

I love these simple pockets! Easy to make and the decorating makes them all different. Lol I load one sheet at a time now. Takes ages but the edge annoys me lol. Oh, the bathroom! 🙊 embrace the dark! Ah shame it didn't work out, hard to cover. Ah bless your son! Fingers crossed for you. Yes the whole house suffers! I need to get the garden tidied too 🙈. Oh I really hope you don't have to move Tina! Storage is always our problem too. Yes the house has to evolve and you're running a business!!we're supposed to be decorating bigger room for my son but we're all ill 🙈 and he won't part with anything🙈. Uh oh garage treasure🙊. Ugh losing an hour is a pain! I've neglected Instagram lately. I'll be rooting for little Vincent😍. When Dex was in an incubator we were only allowed to let the kids in and that was 13 years ago now. He was 11/2 lbs, so tiny but they're AMAZING in there! Oh that decorated one is stunning 😍😍😍. Wow, 15! I'll be making these a lit! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

I am in South Carolina and the price of everything is just getting way out of hand. I am retired so on a very fixed income. I am always on the lookout for meats on sale. Its really bad when a pound of meat is over 8.00 a pound. Hang in there with the divorce. Its a new chapter in your life. Things will get better and easier. I have always liked painting. There's not a room in my mom's house that I haven't painted. That kills me being a renter, I can't paint. I am just trying to keep my fingers away from painting. Are you going to sell and move? I do hope that the government passes the no clock rolling back and forward. Fingers crossed that it goes through. what is the name of the wardrobe you are speaking of?
