So nice to see your pretty face and put it with your voice. The shopping trip was fun and the prices were not bad at all. A 12x12 pack of scrapbook papers here at Hobby Lobby runs between $15 and $25. They do have sales from time to time at 40% off. They also have individual pages, too. I quite enjoyed your trip to the store.

OK, STOP!!! How much fun was this!! Crossed "Shopping with Tina" off my bucket list! This was ah-MAZE-ing and, in absolute seriousness Tina, an absolute genius idea to take us along and explain why you chose what you chose and why you didn't choose what you didn't choose. ...an invaluable shopping trip for someone new to this AND new ideas about different ways to use different things, at least for me(thinking specifically about the butterfly coloring book). A question more out of curiosity than anything else... the shop... is it strictly an artsy shop or a bit of an "everything" store? Does anyone know what we might have like it here in the western US? Higher end/more selection than the Dollar Tree, that's for sure. Tina, thanks again for taking us along. Had I known it was today that we were going I'd have at least gotten dressed from my jammies. If you'll grant me a 'next time' I'll really try to do better. 😳 😔 Love, love, LOVE, MK ❤😁🌞🌵

It seems like Tuesday Morning stores would be similar to The Range items except Tuesday Morning is carrying less art supplies.
@shabbydabbydoodah3 жыл бұрын
Lol, I love that you would have gotten out of your jammies!!! Haha. It was a good trip, it's hit and miss, and I was lucky today that I found some really great things. It isn't a craft store, more of an "everything" store, but they do have a really good craft section. We only really have one "true" craft store, but they are really expensive, whereas here is really great value. Have a great day x

Me to ! None of my stores even have paper pads that cheap and I have not seen any vellum at all in any store that is patterned raised or anything 😪 I had such BEAUTIFUL vellum paper and every time I would buy it, I bought the paper singles to go with it. So buying as I do 2 sheets of paper and usually the vellum to match, for a 2 page spread in my scrapbook I would have essentially 6 sheets all together. Yes, the paper isle was my best friend and worst enemy LOL But I did have to have what I saw that was new. Now, in Hobby Lobby and Michael's and Joann's paper singles are not nearly as they were, I have been to Joann's for the open cardstock Bazzil when it's been on sale. I do have to get some storage for the 8.5 x 11 and I like to either break it up as theme or color. I don't care for the white core card stock but I have used it. I have SOME storage for the 12 x 12 cardstock but not nearly enough. I don't have anything anymore. That rotten you know what X of mine threw ALL of my stuff in a dumpster and I could only get a little bit of it out before the garbage truck was there. 😪 So I am rebuilding my Entire stash from the start . Ioved those flowers hanging beside the burlap roll OMG I couldn't have walked out without those Rose's! I have picked up a few thing's at Tuesday Morning but it seems like their crafting section has gotten smaller. Big Lots USED to carry scrapbooking stuff but not anymore. People stole more than they purchased 😪 Pam at the Paper Outpost sent me a big envelope full of trims and I was like a kid in a candy store! But storage is sparse at the 2 thrift stores and high at our 3 craft stores. Coupons and sales and clearance items are my friends. Hobby Lobby stopped the 40% off coupon 😪 anywho I am SLOWLY getting thing's that I can work with.

You picked out an excellent list of supplies for a beginner. A great way to coffee dye is to dip the papers into coffee at night and lay them the divider in her sink. Do this is in evening... then before you go to bed turn then whole stack over on its self. It may still be some damp in the morning, but if separate it and lay it around on your counters or table it will be dry in just a few minutes. You can get some great patterns from the coffee this way!!!

What a fun video! I normally don't watch "Shop with Me" videos but this one was great! You bought some wonderful goodies for your money! I'm in Canada and it's nice to see the shops in your country. So impressive! We have no local craft stores near where I live - I'd have to drive 2 hours by highway, so I haven't been there in a long time. We have dollar stores near here and I get some crafty stuff there when they have it; otherwise, I shop online. But to be honest, I don't really need to buy anything as I have a large stash, having been crafting for over 15 years. I'm a cardmaker, but just recently started making junk journals, so this video is great so I can create a "kit" from my stash for making journals. Loving this beginner series! I love your organization items...I watched the video just after this...and I laughed because you remind me of me...mix ups are my forte as well. So funny 😂 Thank you for sharing and showing us your human side... don't change at all... your awesome and we love it. Great suggestions... Have a great day and weekend...have some fun...TTFN

How lovely to see your beautiful face. Thanks for taking shopping. I prefer the smaller paper packs because the print and design are small than the 12"x 12" ones. Your prices are better than the U.S.

This was great! even though I was jealous as to how well stocked and priced your local branch of the range was. I can honestly say that I owe a lot to that store for stopping me from going stir crazy on my rest days. I do however wish our store stocked as many of the paper pads and ribbons as yours. I can highly recommend those £15 bundle bags as they are great for beginners. I made 2 of my very first TNs as mothers day gifts and they were a hit. Thanks Tina for a very enjoyable video.

Thank you so much Amanda, yes I absolutely love the Range. They do vary, I am really lucky as our local one is really well stocked, it is only a couple of years old, so maybe that makes a difference. I haven't ever bought one of those £15 bundle bags, but they look like great value. What gorgeous gifts for Mothers Day, I am not surprised they were a hit x

Hi Tina, that was fun!! I love that store! We don’t have anything like that in the US. We have Michael’s and AC Moore craft stores but the prices are so much higher. Then we have a store called Tuesday Morning that has a small craft section with lower prices than the other two I mentioned. But unfortunately several of those have closed permanently due to covid. I don’t live close to any of them so I purchase mostly on online. So it was really fun to go shopping with you. It will be fun to see what you do with everything you purchased. Hugs 🤗

Thank you so much Linda. Yes we are really lucky to have this shop, and it's really close by to where I live. It is really great because they carry quite a lot of value brands which is awesome, our other craft store is much more expensive, and is about 15/20 minutes drive away. Hope you have a great Saturday x

Hello hello!!! Great idea! I'm a bit envyous of that store. In Portugal everything is very expensive paper and crafts wise... We only have small "one owner" crafts stores. And scrapbooking or junkjournaling is not very known crafts. So imagine my unhappiness... what is availiable os very expensive and there's not that much to choose from...but it's good to know other stores. We just have to be even more creative! Nice to see the face to go with the beautiful voice! 💜
@shabbydabbydoodah3 жыл бұрын
So sorry Sara that you do not have much to choose from in Portugal. We had very little choice until a few years ago, and now thankfully we have this awesome shop. It's been a game changer I must admit. Other than that, I rely on Amazon, which just stocks everything, although not always very cheap x
@saradeandrade3 жыл бұрын
@@shabbydabbydoodah sometimes I also rely on a Spanish online store called UpandScrap. It ships to Portugal for 2eur! But the prices are normal. Sometimes they have discounts but nothing like the paper pads you found on your store. Lets hope they Open one here soon! And I keep on using a lot of recycled materials! 😁 And your great ideas! Thanks! Oh! And I have a question! What does it mean when you say: "Thanks N"? Kisses 💜

Fun to see you get to go out and shop! I don’t think I’ve used anything other than digi’s, original, or maybe some coffee/tea dyed papers, envelopes etc since before covid...so fun what you found and how you’re using your treasures.

LOVED the shopping trip! You have a lot of items that are affordable! I live in a small town, so all we have are the items in the craft section from the Dollar Tree. I must drive 25 miles to get to any crafter style shop. Of course always Amazon....... I would love to go grocery shopping with you to see your stores! (HINT HINT).
