A small blessing that seems to have come out of all this isolation is spending more quality time with the family we share a home with. I loved hearing about your little family adventures.

Tina, I absolutely love this book. It's the bomb. Your choice of papers are awesome. You dont need a lit of different colors in order for your collage to be beautiful. I love the monocramatic colors as much as lots of different colors. I'd be interested in seeing you make more of these.

I've enjoyed your paper collage series (and all your video's for that matter). I have used just white cardstock paper to collage my pieces onto, let it dry and scan it into my computer. That way, I can print it out on any type of paper and create an envelope out of it, or a tag or whatever. I then always have my "master" copy that I don't have to cut up if I don't want. I need to do more of these because I have soooo many scraps. As you mentioned, this is a great project to not think for a bit.

Thanks for sharing this idea. I had so many scraps. I didn’t have a similar book so I ended up using an old calendar which turned out to be a brilliant base. I forced myself just to use scraps only and didn’t tear up any new pages. My favorite pages ended up being the ones that I kept to one primary colour _ all the blues of varying shades on one sheet, pink on another and so on. I have 2 or 3 pages still to fill but Will need to dig around for more scraps.. I feel like I might be tempted to hoard the book though. I enjoy crafting along with you. Thank you.

Interesting enough, I am on my third book. It is more like yours more cohesive. I am one of those free spirits I am afraid. After watching several videos, I think that simple is better for the collages and color coordinated, so that the snippets are the BUSY or decorated part of the project. That is what I have learned so far.

Cuteness!! I love this collage idea!❤️ So sweet of you to use one of your daughter's old learning books🤗. I was working along sealing pages in my Junk Journal with Mod Podge Gloss to help them last longer ( not every page, only the pages that will not be journaled on and are used as substantial pages in journal. These are the pages that add support in the journal itself as well. I use composition notebooks to make my Junk Journals with. Right now I am working on a Faith Journal. I have 10 more Junk Journals that I have been working on. I also seal the covers as well ). You and your family stay safe as well. I pray for continued Health, Safety and Prosperity for you and your family 🙏😇, in Jesus name, Amen.

@shabbydabbydoodah4 жыл бұрын
It’s the easiest cake ever, just 8oz self raising flour, 8ox sugar, 8oz butter and four eggs, mix all together rather than in separate stages. Then pour into two cake tins, pop in the oven 180 degrees for about 23 minutes. Leave to cool, and then put strawberry jam in between the two cakes. You can add cream, but I never do. Dust the top with icing sugar and then enjoy! X

I would like to know what you have in mind for the back side of these pages. I guess you could put coffee dyed paper and use the pages as journal cards. What are you thinking?
@shabbydabbydoodah4 жыл бұрын
I have made a few pieces using the finished book (videos are in the collage scrapbook playlist), I will tend to use most as pockets and tucks, so the back isn’t really a problem. However where I want to use them as journalling cards and tags, I will just cover the back with coffee dyed paper x

Hi Tina! Love this and each page is so pretty! What a novel idea! Just a thought, when we run out of eggs for baking, sometimes you can substitute mayonnaise. Yes, it sounds horrid...but the ingredients are basically eggs and oil. So I've used about 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise = 1 egg. Believe it or not, your cakes will turn out moist and delicious and not taste like you've mistakenly put mayonnaise in your cake and not on your sandwich! lol Make take a bit of tweaking on your end, but it certainly helps in a pinch. Have a wonderful day--I watch all your videos! Our best to you and your family and hope you are all well!
