That is a really sweet setup! Also a fellow South Carolinian here. I'm looking to upgrade from my Honda ADV 150 soon. Not a lot to choose from around here when it comes to bigger scooters, but I was thinking either the Yamaha Xmax 300 or the AK 550. Seeing this setup definitely sways me a bit more towards the AK 550 though.

Where do you have plans on traveling with your new motorcycle? National Parks or landmarks? Please add safety lights and high visibility stickers on the back ,3m for night driving. @@Kahuna_550 thank you. I used to have a Yamaha XMax 300 last year. I’m going to look at the AK 550 and possible buy one tomorrow. How do you like it….. would you buy it again if you had to? Like I said I’ll be coming from a XMax 300 so I’m not sure what to expect. I was also thinking about the BMW C 400 GT triple black as well…. I’m not sure what to do 🤦🏽‍♂️ lol any advice?? Thanks

@@sxtsxt6714 Don't really have any advice 😂 I love the AK and wouldn't get any other maxi scooter personally, unless they sold the Tmax Tech Max in the states. It's a motorcycle in scooter form, if that's what you want then go for it. No complaints.

Curious, how tall are you or what do you think about this scoot for a 6'4" guy?

I'm 6' and I cannot flat foot both feet on ground, only one. It fits me just fine, knees feel a little high but normal. You'd just have to find one and sit on it since you're a little taller.

Side cases are unnecessary - you can get a tail bag if you need even more storage, it is cheaper and lighter.

Depends what people prefer, I use all the cases and a Givi roll bag strapped to the back. Good combo 👌
