Homemade Caramel Kaya
Ingredients:
5 eggs( size B)or 4 eggs (size A)
180g white sugar (take 60g-cook caramel)
250ml Thick coconut milk
4 pandan leaves (knotted)
Practice:
1. Pour 60g of white sugar into the pot, boil and melt, it turns into an amber color
2. Add 2 tablespoons of water to dilute, slowly add 250 g of thick coconut milk, stir well, turn off the heat
3. Stir eggs and sugar well, add caramelized coconut milk, mix well, strain.
4. Pour the mixture into the pot, add pandan leaves, turn on a low heat, stir constantly, and cook until the kaya is thick.
P/s:
1. The consistency of kaya is up to personal preference. If like thinner and shorter cooking time. If like thicker and longer cooking time.
2. The sweetness is also adjusted according to personal preference.
3. If the kaya is accidentally boiled coarsely, you can blend it with blender and it will become smooth.

Handmade Pandan Kaya
I am Shadajie, today we are going to make pandan kaya
Cooking kaya requires patience. Slowly stir it over low heat until it thickens. This does not need to be boiled in water. It takes about 35-40 minutes to keep stirring. The finished product is smooth and fragrant!
Pandan Kaya Recipe
Material:
6-8 pieces pandan leaves (add 100ml of water, blend with a blender, then strain the pandan juice, set aside.
4 eggs
180g caster sugar
200ml coconut milk
practice:
**Mix all ingredients evenly, strain, pour into a non-stick pot and stir continuously over low heat for about 30-40 minutes or until thickened.
Remark:
1. The thickness of the kaya is up to personal preference. If you like it thinner, the cooking time is shorter. If you like it thicker, you need to cook it longer.
2. The sweetness can also be adjusted according to personal preference.
3. If the kaya is accidentally boiled, you can use a blender to beat it, and it will become smooth.

400g pumpkin (peeled)
130g Gula melaka/Palm sugar
200ml coconut milk
4 pandan leaves (knotted)

Yes I boiled it n it turned rough. Cool it n blend. Do not overblend or it becomes watery. Just count 1, 2, and 3. That is good enough Bottled it but cannot keep long as we do not use prservative. Adding in pandan juice is nice too.
