I do water these plants daily during summers while in winters I water them every 2-3 days.And for fertilizing I mix few grains of DAP in all ornamental/flowering plants once in 3-4 months...and in my kitchen garden I use cow dung manure or vermicompost.

Keep it in full sunlight for few days...when it will start growing new shoots,maybe then you can keep it in semi shade.
