I visited Positano a few weeks back. Kind of looked like this.. cliff near the sea, buildings painted in multiple colours lining those cliffs..Hiking Cinque Terre is on my bucket list.

genoa is the nearest station to cinque terre

It's also a coastal Italy tour, looks excellent, the residences alongside the cliff always look different, the pastel colors add extra views. It's can be compared with Amalfi coast but the grandeur of Amalfi is far better than Chique terre.

These are glorified places in Italy which has nothing to enjoy.Those villages looks similar to some areas in old Delhi.Just for the heck of making it a famous tourist spot they have unnecessary train stations.The sea view is very similar to what you see in Goa, Karnataka or any other coastal area.
