Okay, but Scorch surviving makes total sense. Katarn armor is incredibly durable and protective. Scorch didn't take many hits and then he fell. He totally survived that fall.

Agreed. Shameful. Dave squandered Scorch in our BB. As was my Cross & Wrecker with that end scene of Season 3. We deserve more animation. *That story is far from done, what about Senator Chuchi, Rex & Echo, Gregor, Cody, Wolffe, Crosshair & Wrecker??* Dave, you have to give us more, their fight couldn't possibly be over. With so much unanswered & unfulfilled. The CW/BB fans are heartbroken & severely disappointed with that Season 3 ending. You know what you must do. Please.

Tjis is why we have fanfictions.. Scorch NEVER DIED ☺️. Sometimes I think I would have rather Scorch became a good guy and kind of kept CrossHair a bad guy. Awesome job man! Felt very authenticate to the game while also feeling like a seamless branch off point from The Bad Batch. The chip destroyed the clones' personalities only a few were able to reattain their personality. But the fact that Scorch the comic relief character was turned into a loyal solider that didn't ask questions shows the chip's damage. Also, the most loyal Republic Commando Sev saw that the empire was not the same government he fought for is astounding

It really shows how much the empire (and losing sev) had changed him!! And sev was loyal to the republic, but also thought for himself the most out of the group! … I have no words to describe how freaking amazingly awesome that was. Scorch walking through the smoke. His “Sev?!” His take down of the stormtrooper, and the subsequent take downs. And then. “Go… Don’t go dying on me… I can’t lose you again.” “I’ve already died once, they’re not getting me a second time.” The Best Scene. The way Scorch’s voice broke when he said that. And the way he stared after Sev. P A I N. Scorch rigging the place and his whole report, damn, the feels are hitting hard. “The doctor has need of your presence on Tantis.” 💀…kriff… His “Yes Sir.” Gave me the chills, and the way he stared off into the distance…ouch From when they first meet, to when they part ways. That entire interaction hit me straight in the feels. It was done phenomenally. And having just finished playing Republic Commando made it hit harder. This is now canon for me. Legit. Really, a danged good job. Also good job on the voices! I was pleasantly surprised at how good they actually where, kudos! I love how Scorch has an Imperial issued blaster, but Sev still has his DC-17m Now, if you’ll excuse me while I go rewatch it half a dozen times. And try not to cry. edit: I did, in fact, cry. Ps. And yeah playing the game recently definitely makes it hit harder lol!!! Yeah Shape Shifter did an amazing job on the voices, both making them accurate to the game and really showing the emotion! Also, Will Brenner (Coiled Boat on yt) did great with making an accurate helmet voice effect from the game! And I had help from curry powder with writing the script! I really love how it turned out! I love how you did the action sequence with the TK troopers, creating a sense of dread/panic as the door shuts behind them and all we (and they) can see are bits and flashes of the fight as, one by one, they get taken down. And the TK HUD perspective too! Really awesome animation, script, voice acting, music - all of it. Thank you all for making this! And…. cool tie-in with the Tantiss reference. This backstory sheds new light on Scorch’s appearances in TBB and makes it heavy. Ooof. And that end-credit scene. Booyah. Let’s go, Rex’s Batch/Clone Rebellion!

@@CarsonMusic Yes, you did an excellent job! When I listen to it, it feels as if it’s almost a lost echo, or reminiscent version, of the original. Which fits AMAZINGLY with the story. It perfectly captures the past, between those two elite soldiers, showing that times have changed as well as targets. Due to the song having its own, somewhat slowed type feeling to it, It acknowledges that the galaxy is beginning to turn into one of its darkest eras. It is no longer the up beat, “happy times” that were once there during the clone wars. I applaud you for creating such a perfect version of Vode An, that fits so incredibly well with the tone of this story.

That actually would be so much more interesting. They had the opportunity to make Scorch the second plot line among with the main one MANY times, even if just for an episode, and it would actually help to expand the canon. Don't know why they didn't try to do that

Anyway i always think that Fixer would fit better for role that Scorch represent in Bad Batch he was always cold and by the book soldier he's the one who left Sev on Kashyyyk with any regard , even Boss being a leader he hesitated to do so but being a leader it involves with sacrifice but Fixer just follow orders like clones during order 66.

Yeah true!! Fixer would've been the easiest to convert to the empire. I do think that Scorch changing so much from happy to more like Fixer shows how much the chip changes them though! I wish they showed more of that in the show!

I know for one of my 3 minute animations the render time in total was like 10 days lol! But idk if this was longer or not. We do have plans on making some more though!!! So stay tuned!
