Has anyone noticed in episode 1 opening, we see bursts of light come out and, in episode 8 opening, the last one, we see shadows coming out and surrounding? It is like representing Alina and the Darkling respectively. There's also episode 3 opening which represented the Crows and episode 7 opening which represented Jesper. And maybe episode 2 opening represents Heartrenders, episode 4 opening Inferni and episode 6 opening Tidemakers.

well, the title of episode 1 is "a searing burst of light" but i agree with you, it's why are the 3rd and the 7nd my favourite

I've just finished listening to this: SHADOW AND BONE (OST) - Full / Complete Official Soundtrack Music | Original Soundtrack [FULL ALBUM] And.... I haven't found the exact same sound but something very similar in a different key, you have it on 1:29:36 it's so good I still have goosebumps. Hope I helped :)

I love the tidemaker one too. I kinda expected that one to transition to the sea/ship with Nina and Matthias, but it didn't 😅

@@abbeyBominable123 That would have been a very cool idea! A neat transition. I don't remember seeing Tidemakers doing anything in S1? I would have loved to have seen that because we mostly got to see Squallers and Inferni. Also, the Fabrikators are very underutilized and I would love to see more from them.

@@Sandra-rc5uc Yeah, the tidemakers didn't do anything this season. But I think it's because of budget restrictions (water VFX are expensive) and they have nowhere near the budget of shows like game of thrones. But for what it is, Shadow and Bone looks great. I hope Netflix will increase the budget for next season after seeing how successful this show is. We'll see more Grisha powers 🤞

@@abbeyBominable123 That's a good point. I didn't think of that. Makes sense that they focused their budget on other Grisha. I think they received quite a high budget still and did a great job with what they were given. Fingers crossed though for that second season and for seeing more powers. I think we have quite good chances. Also for seeing characters such as Nikolai and Wylan!

It’s the Crow theme and you can mianly hear it towards the end of the song “Royal Archives Heist” from the season 1 OST. If we get that Six of Crows spinoff, I swear we better get a longer version for a complete intro.
