It wasn’t fake. It was officially picked up by HBO and a pilot called Queen of Shadows was scripted. It either just fell through or is a very slow process.

jessethereader Well maybe it's just not my taste, I thought it could've been funnier some scenes that were supposed to be funny seemed dull, and I felt it should've been longer so we could learn more about the characters. Idk maybe it's just me 😅
