The lore accuracy in this is insane. Especially with the young G.U.N. Commander on the ARK, and Rouge mentioning Sonic’s birthday party. Also, Omega’s “I call dibs!” line is hilarious. XD

I actually like that Rouge first said she was gathering intel for GUN and then at the end plans on raiding a GUN base. It shows that she's not working for GUN exclusively and is more like a freelancer that does whatever she wants. After all, even during Sonic Adventure 2, she wasn't answering to GUN so much as answering to the President, and clearly there she was more so working for the reward of the jewels rather than out of loyalty. She's very Chaotic Neutral that way, and I like it.

Hopefully SEGA realises that fans love to see Team Dark well be an actual team so maybe we can get an official main line game or perhaps a spinoff game all about Team Dark

They canonised the Commander's name as Abe! :D Shadow doesn't wanna go to Sonic's party 'cause he doesn't know what to get him, and is worried it'll hurt his social standing. Sonic's that one guy who tells you to just surprise him when you ask what he wants.

Loved this episode, once again animation and looks are beautiful, voice acting is great and the characters interactions are so good. Super happy we got more time with Maria. Seeing the Gun commander as a kid again and a returning boss from Shadow the hedgehog game, super cool. Do wish the episode was a bit longer and didn’t have an abrupt end, nevertheless still fantastic. 🖤❤️
