I have the theory these dragons were supossed to be far more powerful. Their power was supossed to increase with time and would eventually become destructive cosmic entities kinda like Buu. Goku could beat them because he fought them too early and were esentially newborns. I mean, the first one couldn't even transform yet the last ones were a closer match.

The concept of evil shenron was so good, and it made perfect sense for shenron to be the final villain since the show is named after dragonballs, but the execution sucked so bad. I'll be happy if super uses the same concept with super dragonballs for the final villain of super.

Hasn't Super ripped off its predecessors enough? It stole the Super Saiyan God ritual from when Gohan, Goten, Pan, and I think Uub gave power to Goku to fight Syn, U3's God of Destruction looks a lot like Lord Luud, who was Dragonball's first real God of Destruction (the term was used a lot before, but Luud was the only one to be worshipped like a God), and I'm convinced Golden Frieza was taken from Golden Nuova. And that just GT. A good amount of the U6 characters are reskins of U7 characters, Kale is Rule 63 Broly and even used some of the original LSSJ's lines (obviously changed a bit to make the obvious rip off a bit less obvious) and performed some of the moves he did in his 1st movie, and I'm pretty sure Cell did the whole "Tournament to decide the fate of the world" thing before the Tournament of Power. Also, Turles was the first evil Goku. The concept of the Shadow Dragons may have been good, but putting it in Super would only show that Super can't stand on its own 2 feet. That and they already made Pan WORSE than she was in GT. At least she occasionally did stuff back then. Now she's nothing but a comic relief toddler.

And no they didnt copy the ssj god ritual, that was done before too when goku fought broly and the concept of sharing energy was always there. And U3s god is clearly a reference to Gt. And the tournaments were the main part of db franchise, the only way to make the tournaments more intersting is to raise the stakes, so what cell did wasnt anything too unique. And turles wasnt evil goku, the concept of evil goku is very basic and simple, anyone can come up with it, turles was just a guy who happened to look like goku, just like how bardock looks exactly like goku and goten too, in super that was actually gokus body, whats important is that the execution is good. And gt had some great concepts and in okay with super using some of them again but in the right way, since gt never happens, its not like the same events are happening again for the characters. And how the fuck did super make pan WORSE ? Her story hasnt even starter yet, she is much younger than gt version, there something called character development, ofcourse pan will be funny and cute, shes a fucking toddler, do you expect her to start screaming and get jacked like the other characters 😂

So your problem it that theres a scene in both gt and super where the characters held hands and shared energy ? ok. I can agree with you one kale for now. I was very disappointed by kale in super, i was expecting her to be better than broly tbh, but for now she's not. But her story isnt over yet, the lgssj in super was only in one episode so im gonna give kale some time and see what they do with her. Again the story of the universal arc isnt over yet. Im pretty sure htat there was a good reason for the tournament. Zeno was already going to destroy the 8 universes no matter what. Im sure there is something going on which we havent seen yet so no point in judging it yet. I was worried about frieza coming back as i wanted to see buu fight, bu after the latest episode im very interested in seeing what they do with frieza, that one episode was better than the whole ROF plot tbh. Goku blacks execution was pretty great. Its one of the best stories in dragonball series since the cell game and frieza saga, in my opinion. Turles was non canon and he was pretty boring and lame, and black in 100 times better than him in every way. Turles was just another cliche bad guy and he looked like goku, thats it, there was no similarity between the two. Black on the other hand had a purpose. He is the only villain after frieza who actually did what he said he would. Zamasu taking gokus body and killin his own family with that face, then mimicking gokus moves was much better than what ginyu and turles ever did. And if you have a problem with that then you should also have a problem with baby taking over vageta. Not only was that the same as ginyu but that was the 3rd time vageta went evil again. The last part is so stupid that i dnt even wanna reply. So pan sucks in super because she is not doing anything in the show, and she rather not exist ? ok what ??? So by that amazing logic, gohan should've never existed because at one point he was just a whiny little kid who was always getting into trouble and getting kidnapped. Chichi shouldnt exist because she does nothing, Satan shouldnt exist because he IS a comic relief character. Yamcha, tien , yajarobie, puar, master roshi, oolong, korin, popo, dende, shouldnt exist cause they literally dont do shit anymore. (Now they're doing it, but im just using your logic). Even UUB should never exist cause he's not even in the show yet. Pan is literally only in 4 or 5 episodes in super at this point and she is a FUCKING TODDLER, LIKE WHAT DO YOU EXPECT HER TO DO ??? We're not even at the end of Z episode yet. This argument make syou other arguments look super weak man.

Black was better than all of gt villains and some of Z villains too. Black beat goku and vageta multiple times, something only he has been able to do, and by the end it took zeno to take care of him. The other four more or less had strong "side abilities" such as power sapping pollution, absorbing traits and abilities, or having control of the winds and sea. Nova and Eis were strong with good abilities, where as Omega was a culmination of them all with ungodly strength

Goku took care of the 4 star dragon Ball to remind him of his Grandpa. It was also seen on gohan's hat when he was small. The very same dragon Ball stored the negetive energy of wishing back piccolo to save planet namek and the shenron that came out of it was honourable and also helped Goku in his fight against omega. In the last scene, special attention to the 4 star is given as it is absorbed into Goku. I love the consistency in all the seasons. Makes the anime very wholesome and complete to me

Ultimate Mighty Goku rage was created because master roshi used the dragon balls to revive goku. Also super saiyain 2 only have electricity sparks. Rage having the ability to use and absorb electricity does not relate to goku's super saiyan form, that's pure coincidence. He posses no other relation to goku especially their personalities. The dragon that had some sort of similarity to goku was nuova shenron who faught with honor and was kind to goku unlike the rest of the shadow dragons and ies being the total opposite twin of nuova

Baby and the Shadow Dragons were pretty original. But super 17 was pretty much super android 13 and the black star saga was meant to be a throwback to the original dragon ball but it seemed much more boring.

@@consumedbydeceit5942 The problem with Super is that there are simply no stakes. In Z it genuinely felt like yo if they lose to Frieza/Cell/Buu the universe is finished. In Super if there is an issue it's an Earth problem Beerus+Whis have the Universe covered. Heck even Broly was like nothing to Whis. They tried to fix this in TOP but I mean most of the characters were heroic so they probably would have wished everyone back to life so it really wasn't a surprise, plus no killing in the tournament lessened those stakes as well. Literally the only part where I was worried about a character was when Anilaza was trying to eat 18. Also in Super everyone has dropped about 20 IQ points. Goku's retarded, Frieza was so scared of SSJ maybe if he hit the gym for like a weekend he would have crushed it. Apparently the potara rings aren't permanent which means what's the difference in the fusions? Trunks coming for help and literally left crying because Zamasu was the sky? The idea that Goten+Trunks would do worse in a fight compared to Tien. Buu "always sleeping" simply because he's too OP. Transformations? SSG, SSB is just a colour swaps from SSJ. The Kaioken Blue, Royal Blue and UI are pretty cool though. At least in Super other characters get to shine, whereas in GT it was just "Goku time" the others were basically a waste of space/a burden right until Vegeta got a SSJ4 transformation at the v.end, even then it was simply to fuse with Goku he didn't do anything by himself. GT the space stuff was dumb esp. since Frieza was established as the de-facto strongest so the idea of an "adventure" with Goku was ridiculous. If they had made it so as a kid he couldn't transform (or hold it like SSJ3) then might have made it more interesting. Pan+that robot was fucking annoying as well. Super Android 17 was stupid as well. The Dragons however were genuinely interesting and is well worth re-visiting the idea that DB shouldn't be abused. SSJ4 was an epic transformation the idea of Oozaru going SSJ was always what I thought the legendary SSJ should have been.

Nuova Shenron is the only Shadow Dragon that shown honorable villain and a worthy opponent of Goku for some reasons. 1) He is the 4-Star Dragon Ball which was a family heirloom of both Grandpa Gohan and Goku since this was the first Dragon Ball that appear in the first episode and the first one acquired by Goku. 2) He was not cocky and arrogant character but remain as stoic and terrifying villain. 3) His final form was Golden Form(Golden Frieza who?) was his TRUE form. Plus, he transforms that form without a fit of rage nor power up. 4) He challenge Goku to prove if he was a worthy opponent and turned out, he was right as Goku did fought him in his base form, despite some comedic moments. And lastly, 5) He transforms into Golden Form as Goku requested and Goku also transform into Super Saiyan 4, his primal true form before they fight for another round. Heck, he even help Goku against Omega Shenron. Of all of Shadow Dragons aside Syn/Omega Shenron as the Thanos of Dragon Ball series, Nuova Shenron is by far my favorite Shadow Dragon.

The set of regular dragon balls is probably what makes him powerful. If Super goes in the same direction for some reason, we might get shadow dragons from the SDBs, but that's unlikely. It's even more unlikely that they will get boosts from different sets of Dragon Balls, unless different universes have multiple similar sets.
