I only wish these mods were more like base Generations in the sense that they weren't 100% faithful adaptations to the original stages, they were remixes that were free to shuffle around the order of stage elements or expand on concepts/themes/gimmicks that the original was going for. I know it's more difficult to come up with a different layout for the levels while still maintaining the parts people love and recognize, but it can be done, and I believe in the modding community to be able to explore that more in the future!

I'm sure work has started on a couple of remixed levels like that already, it's just that they logically take much longer to release than porting the OG layouts

@@Zerosaber91 Still, Gens remixed and experimented with the existing ideas. I'm not at all saying that porting old levels and stuff is bad at all, it's very impressive! I just wanna see how the community can expand, and make levels that feel like a part of base Gens.

Grand Metropolis was actually a pretty fire stage; surprised Sonic Team made a whole ass Chaos Island level instead of that.

The theme of the level doesn't quite match the theme all the other levels in the game go for, also, how would you do a 2D version of this?

it's more fun to generations-ify a frontiers area, besides i liked the idea of turning a open zone into a stage, and it worked, because it's a fan favorite

Grand Metropolis works a lot better with the Shadow Generations physics than it did with the Sonic Generations one in a mod for the original version cool to see honestly, shadow just taking things by going fast but not *too* fast, and Sonic just running off the road every time I push the boost button

Looks cool, but neither Stage works on my jailbroken Nintendo Switch; only Air Fleet and Sky Troops so far. Westopolis feeezes at the halfway point and Chemical Plant 2 - 1 freezes assoon as you load i to the stage. It seems Stage mods arent very compatible with the Switch version.
