The board in the back of the garage in the teaser was Shadow's Airboard from Sonic Riders. People are speculating that cross worlds may have both car based racing and Airboard racing from Riders. I hope thats the case but Im not getting my hopes too high.

5:48 That is what is called "Extreme Gear" think of it like a hoverboard for the Sonic series. Those are what some of us prefer as the superior Sonic racing games, Sonic Riders. Sonic Riders is basically a racing game that involves racing via hoverboards called Extreme Gear. Each character having their own classes of Speed, Flight, and Power- the Sonic Heroes treatment. I would highly recommend trying Riders. The 1st Riders and it's sequel, Zero Gravity are considered amazing Sonic racing games. Free Riders is stuck on the Kinect which I think speaks for itself, but would be an excellent Sidequest video.

My only complaint with this DLC is that there’s not enough content I wish there was a second level and a mini boss if these two things were in the DLC to begin with I think we’d all be happy with it but it’s just too short

They probably weren't given alot of resources and time to make the DLC, since Paramount didn't want too much information about the movie floating out before hand, since SEGA knew about the Tokyo scene ages before us (so they could make the assets, the skin etc), plus if they tried to add more content, it most likely would have released after the movie, when the games purpose is to build up to the movie. While more would have been better, I'm still glad we got what we did

I feel like I'm the only person that gets heavy Kingdom Hearts vibes from this level's intro. But oh boy do I get those vibes. The almost otherworldly evoking music, the adjusting to a new unfamiliar world, noticing that your clothes, or in this case fur, is different. A new and unusual means of traversing worlds. Granted said method exists in the Sonic movies, but still. A remix of Westopolis, almost as if Tokyo here is an alternate version of his reality's Westopolis. And I know, Kingdom Hearts didn't invent nor has a monopoly on alternate dimensions. But man do I get strong vibes of it here.

The board in the background of the Sonic Racing: Crossworlds trailer is thought to be an Extreme Gear, which is the type of hoverboards used in the Sonic Riders series. Not sure if this hints towards using them in the game or something but it has people excited.

I know people are gushing about Keanu but he sounds mad off in this video. I cant put my finger on it. I feel like this is his first time voicing an animated character and it really shows in the delivery.
