RH doesn't have many fans. I mean many people collect them, but i don't know if i would call them fans. The moment RH releases something "mediocre" it is " they're so boring, so overpriced for the design, only 1 outfit??". A lot of them are bratz and MH stans, so now they're calling RH flop because it makes them think now mh and bratz are "superior" while giving poly, printed paper fabrics, wonky printed faces etc. RH really gives in the makeup, quality and fashion. Their makeup is unmatched and quality is never seen on playline. The only thing i would change is RH doing different under shirts for their shirt+bralette combo.

Great video and *thank you* amd the other people in the comments for articulating so well how entitled and spoiled some doll fans are when it comes to RH/SH while forgiving/ignoring the low quality and boring designs of nearly every other brand. These and some of the omg dolls are the *only* doll brands who are still serving quality and originality when everyone else has given up, period. Rosie's my favourite out of the two but both are really pretty.

I love your rant at the end. My only complaint with SH/RH is the quality control because I have come across many defects. But the dolls themselves, the quality, the ideas, the effort?? Yeah, we are spoiled by how amazing they are, especially the clothing. The lack of second outfits is a huge bummer, but if they need to lower costs it is better to remove the second outfit than to lower the quality of the materials. The whole slime thing sounds weird, but there is probably a lot of information we do not know and there will be other 2024 releases that will resemble what we are used to. I wish people would be more positive, this is a HOBBY it is supposed to be FUN! 💜

Yes, it's very tiring to read how every single new RH/SH doll is bad, cheap and generally a flop. Sometimes I think everyone is saying negative things about RH/SH dolls because it's some weird, incomprehensible trend or something 🥲Like, it doesn't matter if the dolls have an extra outfit, fabric shoes, whether they are budget dolls or not, people will still find the most trivial reason to write that it's a flop and that RH is over. The detail on their outfits is absolutley amazing and I adore berrie's top! For these two I just don't particularly care for their make up though, I'd probably end up repainting them if I got either of them. Also who named the characters in this line? lol (I took way too long to realise that the red details on Rosie's coat are in fact cherry blossoms and not maple leaves💀) But I absolutely agree that rh/sh quality is just on a whole different level than other brands on shelves right now. I don't think I would have gotten into doll collecting without them and I love the dolls so much! There have been some rumors about a soft reboot to make it more targeted at children but I hope those turn out to be wrong. This doll line has been absolutely amazing so far and I would really miss it

Berrie's make up is actually not bad. It's really different to what we used to get but I'm not quite vibin with Rosie's make up. It's the only thing about her I'm not feeling. I knew it was cherry blossom on her coat from the very beginning. Her earrings tho, that's a mystery

I'm guessing that since shadow high was mostly dark colors maybe it didn't sell as well as rainbow high as far as with the kid audience. So instead of shadow high being strictly dark colors they expanded the spectrum to monochrome colors with fantasy themes. So kids will be more interested in getting shadow high dolls as well

Mother Boudolly is back! The beginning was hilarious, is Mr. Boudolly my long lost twin lol? Y'all are so cute. People overreact way too much, these dolls are so amazing. Scarlet, Rosie, Berrie, & Lavender are the only ones I'll be purchasing. Scarlet is the one I want most, Scarlet in Mila's clothing will serve severely I fear. The details on Rosie are jaw dropping, she's so pretty. I'm talking head to toe perfection, the coat alone is worth the purchase. Berrie is so cute, dare I say I like her more than Zooey. I intensely love your profile pic, and your custom work is amazing! My favorite dolls from SH Series 3 are Scarlet Rose and Rosie Redwood as well, even if I mainly plan to restyle them because I feel like SH isn't as goth and alternative as it used to be. The thing that made me fall in love with SH as a doll line was Veronica and Naomi, who are also comfort characters and dolls for me, the muted and more unique color schemes, and the more goth and alternative aesthetic of the line. That was what made Shadow High special and relatable to me, and it's a shame that it isn't as common as it used to be in the SH doll line. I also intensely dislike that MGA cancelled the original Storm Twins Jeep playset, so I had to customize my own, as well. Cancelling that playset was one of MGA's biggest mistakes with the Rainbow High line in my opinion! 🖤💜

I have seen the SH lavender pinkish doll in Smyths today (I only saw the 2 you showed before). She is amazing. I had to stop myself buying her full price. She looks fabulous. Her glasses and hat are adorable. I will add her to my collection later. I try to buy less dolls and downsize. I just have no space to put them. I don't think SH series 3 is going downhill. There are 2 dolls I find amazing so far, both on my wish list with a bias for the girl with glasses! 😉
