Damn! smooth clear and pumping compression! I never heard it break up and it was really loud. So much air around the drums , so much control over the signal. And depth, ,,, classic!

I'm more intrigued by the owner of the product than the compressor itself... I would literally buy anything from this man, whatever he is selling must be the quintessential thing in that specific category.

Got the opportunity to hear the Mono Gama yesterday at thomann, Germany. I'm still on a high! Wasn't prepared AT ALL as I stopped reading reviews, I knew nothing about that evil little box. E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T peace of equipment. Piece of art. I was thrilled after seconds and when it comes to gear I'm not thrilled that easily anymore... Will buy. New top priority on the list. Thanks for making this happen! Compared to THAT sound 1k bucks feels like *I* am ripping *you* off. You ROCK!! Thanks -Bob

First off- I like the guy and it would be a shame if he ever thought about putting on a facade to appeal to anyone's ideas of who he should or shouldn't be. Second, I'm relieved to see SOME kind of demo. Most Sweetwater product vids just talk about the gear but you never get to hear it in action and all the reviews are just like- Expensive gear- "This is a must-have. I put in on everything. Thanks you, Brad, for being a wonderful sales rep. I'm planning on getting another one for stereo. derp." Inexpensive- "This is a great tool for any home of project studio. I use it in a live setting with my church band. d-derrrp."

I have always loved this machine e, it is identical to the one in the 60's in the vinyl cutting lathe room at Abbey Road studios. That was a long time ago. Not cheap, but gorgeous and the effect is obvious, I'd trade my left nut for it , really...I would. But I don't know what they would do with it. I love the cat eye part of it too, it reminds me of an old tube radio I rebuilt as a kid from the 30's, never touch the speaker wires on those when it's on, they used electromagnets in the speaker! I could taste ozone for an hour.

He reminds me of one of those guys that lives in the country in remote areas and locks up people in the basement to never be seen again. No offence Mr. Reardon but your PR people need to advise you to smile every now and then it's good for the image and people watching your product demos.

This is aimed at professionals with huge budgets, not your average bedroom producer. This is a serious buying decision and any attempt to overhype the product would result in a lack of trust.
