Shadow Lugia, Toothless, & Chibiterasu Playing Ball - A-kon 22

The ultimate dose of cuteness to finish off your convention weekend at A-kon 22 in Dallas, Texas.
I knew it was a great idea to bring along my Pokéball plush- we always find the best uses for it. Great for tossing, sleeping on, kicking, and biting. I am Shadow Lugia while my friends Monoyasha and NightTwilightWolf are Toothless and Chibiterasu respectively. Thanks for playing with me guys!

the Toothless costume actually has a clip on the base of the neck to hold the head up so the person can see and look realistic while walking around on 2 feet!!

@Cooncay There's no better way to learn than to jump right in I've found- I didn't know a single thing about sewing or fabrics or fursuit making when I attempted Charizard. But I did it anyways and learned so much from it that helped me the next time. I encourage you to give it a shot as there's nothing to be lost from trying.

@MattBullsVideos Jess says that the costume is not very comfortable for long periods of time, as is any quadsuit, and the largest issue being heat with poor vision. Lots of breaks and water is important as is handlers. But she is a seasoned performer having worn it to many events now and sure handled that ball like a pro!

@lucaria44 Aww sad! Actually it's no surprise you missed us; I was in the hotel room most of the time working on the Groudon costume and only went out in costume for about 2 hours Friday and Sunday. Next year I'll be a lot more busy out on the con floor and a lot less time in my hotel room because I will not have to bring along an unfinished costume to work on. So hopefully you can catch me then!

@ZeldaInuYashalover 1)Tennessee? Wow, that would be a very crazy trip for me to make (around 20 hours). I do not have any plans to travel out that far- but I always try to keep a variety of conventions in mind for the far-off future. Either way, no it could not happen next year. 2) 3 1/2 years from now, I'll still be trying my best to attend A-kon in Dallas :) And by that point, hope to attend some of the larger far-off cons. So who knows?
