Not only is Ben going to be looked back on as one of this generation's great extreme vocalists, but I don't think Shadow of Intent have even begun to peak. Every album, they lean more and more into their own sound and it has been an absolute treat to witness.

I wouldn't consider myself a huge deathcore/deathmetal fan. Bands like Shadow of Intent, Lorna Shore and Brand of Sacrifice has completely won me over though, during these past 2 years or so. These guys are just so enjoyable and fresh to listen to! And just beyond talented. Really like you guys and this channel to! Checked you out just yesterday and now you got me stuck haha. Returning to this a year later and just taking in how prescient Ben was about how even more war and devastation was likely to come to Ukraine -- and also that Ukraine would rise to withstand another existential threat. An incredibly thoughtful and talented man. The song hits even harder now than it did when I first heard it on a number of levels.
