As the Red Mountain spills ash into the air, the dark silhouette of Vvardenfell’s coastline appears all the more foreboding. Only a shadow of its former self, the apocalyptic feeling deepens when you see the last surviving silt strider, its lonely calls echoing with a haunting sorrow. In the distance, Neloth’s Telvanni tower stands, while a herd of netches drifts along the shores of the Sea of Ghosts-a reminder of the Morrowind that once was and now exists only in remnants. An ash storm occuring later in this episode only completes the picture.
Despite the melancholy, the blend of sounds and music from both Skyrim and Morrowind opens a window into Nirn, perfect for studying, relaxing, or sleeping.
