it's walking down a dirt road in your hometown past midnight, watching the sky instead of your feet because you know the path so well you could walk it blindfolded. it's sitting in the middle of nowhere without any thoughts to distract you from the landscape, the only sounds you can hear are crickets and your own breath. it's the night sky tucking in the world with a blanket of stars and nebulas, watching from a distance as all the house lights blink out one-by-one, silently wishing sweet dreams to each sleepy home. it's the lullaby of shadow and rest, of peace in the darkness and the promise of nothing disturbing introspection or sleep, whichever you choose. "the world is already asleep, join it when you are ready. the sun will rise later-but now belongs to the moon."

this cant get better even when i'm playing skyrim at night i'm in whiterun and in my house and i hear it playing and i go outside and look at the beautiful mountains and the fog and its SO PRETTYYYY

I'm listening to this in my uni accom, having lost a 5 year relationship. Something about this song is so healing yet bittersweet, it feels like a part of home I can take with me everywhere. Thank you for uploading this

One of the most special and important games of all time. I can't explain how special this game is to me. The excitement i felt when this game came out (I bought the collectors edition for PC with the dragon statue) and just dying to get back home to go exploring. This is in a weird way kinda like missing a best friend or family member. I think for some of us this game is very much like a friend where you spend a lot of time with it and it gives you something in return. I have the same feelings for Oblivion and its soundtrack.

I played the 360 version of Skyrim back in 2011 and my god was it worth it the atmosphere in this game compares to no other the music is what made this game for me and now im finally playing it on PC and it brought back those good memories of playing for the first time Skyrim is definitely one of those games ill cherish forever

I had a surgery back in 2011. I got to play Skyrim before that. It got me so deep then I had to lay in hospital for a week. I suffered for not being able to play it. When I came out I immediatly sat down and played and suddenly this song started to pay. Outside it was snowing. One of the fondest memories of me.

This song is my personal favorite, it speaks to me, in such a calming, warm, homely way... that's it's not only nostalgic, but welcoming, like a loved one embracing you. I absolutely adore Secunda, and I can say I fell for it the first time I heard it playing at night!! Skyrim can be a bit hard to play, or deal with, considering the modding aspects of it, but it's an amazing game nonetheless!
