When i fought him the first time, I felt panic going into the lair. Then, I had no trouble slaying him... I felt a little disappointment because he’s my favorite and I had like no time with him. He didn’t injure me once! He showed me his eyes immediately! Ugh.

I one-tried most of the colossi, but looking back I fully attribute that to beginners luck. I was like "oh Dirge isn't that bad!" when I replayed it and OH GOD HE WAS THAT BAD- god his fight is so good tho it stresses me out and scares me so bad pfft

well. concidering the fact that dirge was measured at over 40 meters long. id assume dirge would win because of sheer size. but its the statistics that really wins battles according to the games code. it is impossible to kill a colossi without stabbing its weakpoint with a sword. at some point arrows will do no damage. and stabs to non vitals will become null so dirge has only two weakpoints. which are always covered by sand. and you would never know where these vital points are because monster hunters dont possess an ancient glowing sword . jhen mhran on the other hand has no weakpoints as far as i know. so you could hit him/her anywhere and it would do damage . and he will die eventually. so the statistics show that Dirge would win and no. drowning doesnt count . the collosi are magical and require nothing to survive other than dormins power . which can only be released through stabbing the vitals with an ancient sword ... Update: dirge was measured at 76 meters long I am sorry for my mistake
