Never thought I'd say this but the PS2 frame rate issues were actually good for the game. It made the colossi slower and even more monumental in appearance.

It made everything weightier. Like when Gaius slams his concrete beam down it'd tank the frames by 8-10fps, it felt so impactful. Like the thing was so powerful it forced the game to suffer.

This is the only colossi I haven't been able to kill in "hard time attack mode". I have come so close many times. But I'm always at least 15 to 20 seconds or more away from doing it before the time is up. Just one colossi away from getting the queens sword plus 100% of all the trophies. LOL

Tim Madone Now you made me remember the feeling i got when i defeated him in hard time attack mode. 2 seconds where left before timer is up. my hands shaked like 5 min after i beat him my heart was pumping so fast and my breath was so fast.

Tim Madone Yes. According to others the ps3 version is harder cause you can't really hit him when wander loses the charge with each step. the belly was so much hell.

Deadly Vanitas LOL....trust me, you don't need to tell me how difficult it is. I've spent probably about 50 to 70 hours trying to take this colossi out in Hard Time Attack Mode. I've come really close several times. So far though, I haven't been able to do it. This seems to be a harder task than completing "Dark Souls" in it's initial run through. lol

Tim Madone I think it was for me at the 100 time i tried to beat him. jump from the sword to the belly. after that use the shoulder trick for the head and for the arm. by the arm i had the problem that i didn't stabnbed enough in time and than i hung there and tried to stab him. final blow when 2 seconds where left. funny thing he was the 14th colossus i beat in hard time attack. i really saved the hardest 4 to the end. gaius and argus for stabbing and celosia and pelagia for one mistake in the long time and it's all over again.

LunarDrop7 I think it's because the colossus (save a few like Dirge) are actually peaceful and pacifistic. Even when Gaius is swinging its sword arm at you, I have a feeling it isn't necessarily to HURT you, more like to scare you off and make you retreat. It doesn't want to kill you, it knows swatting you away will probably do just that (he can probably chuck you clear across the map if he wanted to), so I'm pretty sure that desperately trying to shake you off is all he can do.

Gaius does have an hourglass figure. The exposed midriff which is far more common in women's fashion also makes it look that way. Although Gaius's shoulders are pretty broad and masculine. It's a cool intersex design

Yesterday during black friday i was looking for god of war on sale for 30 bucks. Found it and underneath was this gsme and assaisins creed oddysey. But just the discs as if someone was tryin to steal them. So of course i grabbed god of war and threw the 2 discs in my jacket pocket and went to pay for god of war. So i got god of war, assasins creed oddysey and shadow of the collosus for $30 with the 5 finger discount. Im st work and this is downloading to my ps4 as we speak. Cant wajt to get home and play !

It's pretty simple, actually. A girl named Mono was sacrificed, killed, and Wander wishes to revive her. To do this, he seeks the aid of a mysterious being known as Dormin, who is said to have the power to raise the dead. Dormin will grant Wander's wish, in return for Wander slaying the colossi that roam the land. There is, of course, more to it than just this, but that would be some pretty huge spoilers, so I highly recommend playing the game yourself and finding out! Also, don't worry about what Rune said, that castle isn't the final boss, assuming you mean the one you can see right at the start. It's actually where the game begins, and kind of the central hub in a way.
