. Hard Time Attack Colossus #9, Basaran. Shadow of the Colossus Hard Time Attack Walkthrough on the PS4 Remake. Full Walkthrough of all 16 Colossi. The Speed King trophy requires you to get all items as a set. This means you'll need to get all 8 items in Normal Time attack and all 8 items in Hard Time attack on the same save file. Complete the game on normal or hard difficulty to gain access to Time Attack Mode. Once you get all 8 items on normal difficulty, start a New Game + on the same save file and select hard difficulty.

There is a very easy trick, just run to the farthest geyser then hide behind agro and the colossus will position itself perfectly.

Pro tip: use the jump stab; max damage & you can keep going because stamina charges while jumping

After regularly playing SotC since its literal release day in 2005 and beating all time attack modes in the PS2, PS3, and PS4 releases, I believe I am well-qualified to say, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Basaran sucks with a totality that is utterly breathtaking in its scope. The suckery distorts Euclidean space and the fabric of time itself. Not even light can escape the suck. If given a choice between a 17th colossus or maybe just having 15, I would choose 15 and yeet Basaran into the eternal void. Some hypothesize that Basaran has to suck this hard to generate the foce necessary to make the geysers shoot, but this is just speculation. I also speculate that Basaran's big furry belly could be good to rub, which means he may still be redeemable. Some place Basaran at the top of their list of favorite colossi; they, too, may still be redeemable.

I know you probably already defeated this colossus but to anybody curious of how to consistently not be flung off of his back when he flips do this. Just before jumping over the last ledge to his back just grab ahold of that before he flips over that way your not at the mercy of SoTC's "physics"

So, what if I completed the game on normal and went straight into a new game plus on hard. I'm gonna collect the items there first. I can start a new game plus on normal again when I'm done and get all the normal time attack items too, right? I'm kind of doing it backwards, oh well. The items will stay, right? I've seen some people who get the items but their records don't stay.

Just on with these trophies now it was in my back log after completing the game when it first came out, I’ve decided to mop up for the platinum I flaming hate these trophies because a lot of it boils down to luck not skill good guidelines though just it’s dam hit miss.
