Sorry to tell you this Luke, but that golem that was blocking the ruin entrance doesn't have armoured legs so you could have just fought it like the other one in the area rather than using up the consumables. Then again, maybe puzzling out a way up to its basket was more interesting than another tedious shin-slashing session. Also, you should read up on that Stone-Sheathed Sword more, there's further powers of that to unlock, one location of which is back in a dungeon you've already been through.

Ridiculous with its spikes and long furry legs and horn - you know, known hippo features. 33:25 OMG, I never knew you could participate in the Leda/Hornsent fight! Very cool. 41:18 The photo op had me in stitches, lol. 52:50 I once saw an artwork of that online. Like a warhammer, because the stone was still attached to the end of the sword. Definitely a cool concept!

@@tino9718Yeah, the most “natural” path imo is Rellana -> Hippo (maybe with a detour to the Dancing Lion) -> rest of Shadow Keep. Luke has really just done almost everything else first. 😂

I was following another guide at first so i also killed golden hippo a long time ago and then also explored an entire shadow keep up to the boss room. But frankly it was annoying to do because Shadow Keep is jam-packed with tough enemies (and a ton of weak ones who can cast healing spells) with a lot of platforming, so eventually i looked up the guide luke follows because after the shadow keep i didn't know where to go next to be ready for the boss and it made DLC feel a lot easier because it's structured to make a more natural difficulty progression. But it does mean that players won't be coming to shadow keep full exploration until way later.
