God, it's amazing to get to the end of this and see the edited let's play format really pay off. That droning track, gradually growing more complex and confident as you learn the fight. The whole drama of this being the very last bit of Elden Ring and that really meaning something to you. The video of Let's Play Luke defeating the Orphan of Kos is a big favorite of mine, but this is like the next weird evolution of that. Extremely excited to see what comes next.

Story reasons say I should root for the clown. Personal reasons (and many deaths) say no, I will NOT root for that clown.

I know nothing of this game.... Why is Lord Farquaad a Pokémon trainer now?

This makes me think of the fact that you can set the constructs and Ganon's minions on each other in Tears of the Kingdom. I witness a near draw between a Stalnox and the highest ranking construct you can find in the overworld, I finished them off but Stalnox had more health left at the end.

You could see the improvement over time. Some amazing attempts in there.

I'm currently playing Lies of P and first noticed this in the Arcade down in the part of the wine cellar where several carcass monsters bust out of cells while you fight one of the bigger puppets. Both sides would fight me if I got too close, but it established that the two fractions aren't friendly either. Kinda wish this overlap occurred more often instead of most chapters being almost entirely of one type and human threats being barely existent.

In the Doom series of video games, the enemies would fight with one another if a monster was attacked by accident by another monster. The reason this happens is because Doom's monsters maintain a clear line of sight on the player at all times, but don't factor in whether or not another enemy is standing in front of them when beginning to attack. Any damage taken will result in a period of infighting.

Brilliant! I’ve played some Kingdoms of Amalur (guess on whose recommendation) and I would always trick the spiders into fighting each other. Work smarter, not harder!

I need to replay that one at one point, loved it on the 360, my only gripe with it was the max level was too low and too easy to achieve if you're a completionist that does every sidequests, you're not even halfway through the story and you can't level up anymore

So funny that you got a helper. I love it when the games have mechanics that let or even encourage the enemies to fight each other!

There's a pretty cool lore reason this happens btw, turns out [spoilers] the 'malfunctioning' puppets are not the real enemy, they're trying to help defeat the 'carcass' monsters, following the orders of their king, but this only becomes really clear on ng+ when you can understand what boss puppets are saying. Hence, puppets' priority is to beat monsters, rather than you.

After the end of this playthrough, I somehow found myself rewatching it. ^^ Great videos, all of them! And cool to see you getting and hyping up the sword that would dominate the whole rest of the game.

This series holds a special place in my heart, and weird as it may seem I'm glad that it's over Ray Sunshine's story is a great one to have learned, and it is good that he lays down arms in rest now that it's done
