Heroism Boba can give +1/+0 to any friendly unit. Armour is insane on a Cunning Boba since You can still use barrage on 5, attack with him and it pays for the armour, it lets him race really well and makes future barrages and tricks devastating.

I disagree that the designers didn't know what they were doing with Boba. The raw numbers on Boba and his associated cards (leader, unit, ship, armour) are clearly way above average, let alone their incredibly good abilities. I don't think anyone could put Boba and Jyn next to each other and think they were fair for example; or by the same timing argument, villain and hero Boba leaders. Busted card in its own right aside, the armour will likely warp the meta even more than Boba has already. It seems simply unnecessary.

We actualy asked the designers, they told us somthing along the lines of: "Boba has better stat/cost because the ability was situational and not so powerful" according to them. So they clearly underestimated the power of his ability, which can happen when changes are made late and not throrouhly playtested, it was clearly not intentional. With that being said, Boba is clearly not as OP as we first thought and the meta is in an excellent state atm. It's too early to say if boba armor will have such massive impact, yes it's it's excellent against certains decks, but not great against aggro and Blue/black control

2 things: 1, I think you’ve overrated green Boba. He looks average. 2, Cards like Boba Fett’s armour are why everyone should run upgrade removal in at least their sideboard.

So for the Armorer - Would it not be better when you have a Mandalorian Leader (Mando, Bo-Katan, or maybe Sabine Blue mid-range )? Like have a Mandalorian unit, deploy Leader, Play Armorer?

You can give the plus 1 from boba on ANY friendly unit, not just the one that was deployed.

@@Thorrk_THT makes it a little better. I think it's still not amazing since targeting a unit that you haven't just deployed gives up tempo. Btw, good job against the thrawn deck!

@@colelepine9711 I think just give +1 attack to all ambush by itself is very good, you can buid a deck entirely made of ambush unit in those color no problem, super good with han unit

Hunter’s ability is pretty good imo. Such an insane amount of value can let you do some cool stuff. Basically it lets you draw an extra card per turn. Almost

Well turns out we already have a leader that let you draw a card every turn, Cassian's ability is far easier to use than hunter, and draws you a card from the top of the deck which is far better than giving you a card you already have in play. And even with a stronger ability Cassian doesn't see much competitve play.

@@Thorrk_THT yeah true. But there are two important differences that may make Hunter good. You don’t have to do base damage with hunter. Or if you want copies of cards for some reason. Oh and a third, if you don’t want to play cunning.
