3:25 Uh, little history on this guy: he's an original orc, made from Morgoth's mutating of elves via his powers as a Valar. Thus having a long lifespan and exelent archery is reasonable. By compairison, Uruks are grown in vats via a weaker, less pure black magic. While physically stronger, they are less bright, shorter lived, and more savage. Above all, Uruks have an inate loyalty to Sauron.

It is mentioned in his description that he is one of the original orcs of Arda. Before starting to spawn from vats, orcs were created through corrupting races (elves and humans). Seeing how he looks a lot like an old elf, I would guess THIS is where he took his crazy long lifespan (physical immortality). But, because he is the corrupted result of an elf, his appearance (only) aged over time. Also, we don’t even know if orcs overall can die from aging. (Seeing as how most of them die from each other or their own self-destructive nature before that can happen...)

Most were on point except for orc die from the process of aging but something worth mention, orc can live a really long life but how their life end ultimately is debatable but I would guess on battlefield/infighting thanks to their bloodlust nature.

@@ikigaofficial Tolkien had many theories and ideas on the origin as well as lifespan of Orcs, though in at least one case we see they can have quite long lifespan, Azog and his son Bolg in particular. Bolg died in Battle of Five Armies approximately 142 years after death of Azog, his father so Bolg of the North must have been older than that at the time of his death during events of The Hobbit. In any case other than that obvious familiar connection of Bolg and Azog, we get reference to an orc-child (eaten by Gollum :)) in The Hobbit as well in one of his letters Tolkien wrote: "'There must have been orc-women. But in stories that seldom if ever see the Orcs except as soldiers of armies in the service of the evil lords we naturally would not learn much about their lives. Not much was known'." Orcs of the First Age, or at least those who survived would be the progenitors of all Orcs living throughout the later ages.

Yea, their lifespan's pretty dope and its fair that the Valar granted erm shorter lifespan than other prominent races (e.g. dunedain, Ithilien, elves), else Middle earth would be run amok by them orcs. First age orc lifespan's longer than the rest probably due to their elven blood since they corrupted elves compare to those next in the line orc breed from dark magic. Yea, orc child, orc granny and orc women were mentioned but mostly on hints than direct clue. Definitely wish to see erm in future! Speak of the game, I would love to see Torvin and his brother (forgot the name).

In general I would say that I would like to see more video games set in Middle-earth, open world games with huge area to explore and people to interact :) that would be something, a more immersive experience, imagine for example a Lotr game with...Red Dead Redemption 2 engine now that would be awesome :).

okay some info lesson here. the orcs were created as a twisted version of elves, more often than not actual elves turned into orcs. they kept all the advantaged of elves but removed their compassion and intrest of nature and replaced it with more hate and spite against elven people. they cannot die of old age, but majority lives rarely over the age of 10 as theyre born adult and immidietly sent off to either guard something and be killed by their own or fight against elves and humans. the few that exist, like this guy, from the time of morgoth, are rare, deadly and awaiting for the true dark lord to rise again and retake the land for his own once more. difference between sauron and morgoth is also that morgoth created the orcs and controlled them by pure respect and power while sauron controls them by using his ring. they also can get sick but very rarely and its more often than not due to doing something stupid like drinking drake blood, too powerful grog or adding some kind of "flavoring" to the meat they eat that kills them. also as a response to the eye, could be he was one of the few who morgoth gave a higher ranking to, hence explaining the odd color and shape of his eyes.

Sorry bud, but thats total noncence. In my opinion only the books, notes and letters of tolkien are cannon. I have read all the notes and letters of tolkien and he never specified how orcs came to be. He even stated in some letters that there orc woman and even peacefull orcs who farm.

He hates Sauron more than any other being; as Galadriel indicates, he hates Sauron so much he'll even side with an Elf, which may indicate his hatred for Sauron surpasses his loyalty to Morgoth. Since Zog wants to overthrow Sauron, I think he actually would've sided with him. The only reason he didn't, IMO, is because Eltariel got to him first.

I love this Orc. And yes you can call him that because he actually is a TRUE orc unlike the manufactured flawed blundering idiots we've been fighting in the recent games. He was an Elf corrupted/created from Morgoth himself, the one true Dark lord of Mordor. His deranged lines are pretty disturbing though.. when you consider that aside from being an original, orcs have an indefinite life span and also necromancers are a thing that exists, so this guy has likely been alive and resurrected for a looooong time.

he is one of the first orcs. as he is not bred in a vat he has the immortality given to elves. You can still see the similarities in appearance between him and an elf. As for the eyes I think much like goblins he lived away from the sun too long and developed pretty much night vision.
