I love your analysis - utility is always slept on. 0.3% extra damage vs 10% movement speed. The feather and body and soul thing not stacking is a bummer. But you don’t have 100% uptime on body and soul/feather, so 10% movement speed might save you sometimes - and being dead is a 100% dps loss.

Thanks for the content, boss. I never actually considered the speed gem, i think my mindset was always more focused on raw numbers, to try and justify that show priest mythic raid slot :D. I'll certainly give the speed gem a play with this week, just to see how it feels. I wonder if moving to the speed gem will have much impact on sims and the stat weight of crit. If the damage is minimal, then it probably won't make much difference, just a thought :D

is there a way you can clean up the weakaura a bit and make it have less gaps i used yours in shadowlands and it was amazing, my ocd is trippin me out with this one. also is there a way i can set the dots to be gray by default and if i apply them thats when it is coloured? my instinct looks at gray and thinks i haven't applied anything

Feel free to edit the grid code to your liking :) there is no simple easy way to do what you are asking you will need to edit the auras to suit your liking, i cant unfortunately please everyone's taste

Given that the speed doesnt stack with body and soul/feather isnt it better just to get gems of the stats we actually want instead of just sacrificing that for one of each gem that we dont want just to get a tiny little not even noticeable movement speed effect that doesnt even work with our movement talents? seems kinda like a poor option to me

You can certainly go any way you want there, but the difference between using "correct" gems and the different colored gems is very minor. Personally ill take the speed so that I am faster without wasting a cast on feather/BnS

@@Publikwow yeah i guess it could be handy, i just always pop one of the speed abilities when i need to get out of something so it just doesnt make sense for me i guess, also i dont mythic raid so thats probably where the min maxing with speed will make a difference so maybe thats why, thanks for the reply though i just was abit confused as to why this would be needed :)
